get a 12k tank a good cleric.. an offtank (at least 10k) 1 druid 1FD puller and 1 chanter... experiment.. maybe you will learn the strat i figured out :P

Your strat is gimp and wastes time, mine is much faster and requires less people. :p

Sorry guys, but there's a lot of misinformation going around here.

Here's the scoop, from a guild that's successfully completed it a couple of times:

1. When you aggro one, the others, if they have LOS to any raider attacking their friend, will shoot their Explosive Arrows ( at you as well, so you're getting bombarded simultaneously by 3 AEs. This means when you aggro the north one, you'll get AE'd by the other two, but on the other hand, when you fight the east one, you don't usually get arrows from the south.

2. They are permarooted until their health drops to a certain point, then they become mobile. (About 40% or 30%) They cannot be snared or rooted.

3. They share a common loot table. Only when the 3rd one dies will it drop loot. You're always looking at 2 runes (69s, I imagine they might drop 70s) and 1 loot.

This event seems to have changed, or no one has put in any info on it anywhere that I have been able to find. You get adds spawned about every 30 seconds, similar to the the way they do in the Menlo event in NC...they come in 2's and san't be split on the pull. Once you aggro one of the Sharpshooters, the adds start spawning, along with all the other trash found up in that area, and so you have a regular Kyv /Dragorn party going on, and they dancin on the heads of raiders. Also, the in fo on one of em not being rooted...not sure what's up, but we couldn't pull any of them out. They just AE'd the **** outa us. That AE goes off about every 10 seconds it seems.

We killed the Mihl kyv last, he was NOT rooted. The other two seemed to be rooted. Just an FYI. The building behind Mihl was full of dragorns, first we charged Mihl and had like 12 adds, then after rezz we just pulled Mihl single out to the side and killed him easy.

A few clarifications:

As stated previously, the 3 are 1 event. When you agro 1, you agro all 3. However, all 3 are rooted, so they will simply stand there and AE nuke you. They do not assist the trash mobs and the trash mobs do not assist them.

Clear the trash mobs around each one and engage separately, oh, all while being AE nuked for 1500 by the other 2.

Expect your loot after all 3 die, and they share a common loot table, so it wouldn't matter who you kill first/last.

Do the other two actually leave their spawn spots to assist or are they truely Permarooted and assist by nuking the raid from their spawn points ? thanks for the help.

we tried this event this weekend, had a 10k pally tank we did well at first.. it is very , very important to clear the trash around the named or you are done..
we had 2 clerics and 2 pallys bst and 3 necros. 1 rouge all lvl 70.. this went well until 2 noc added and killed the clerics.. our Necros FD . necro rez'd and we moved on... I think this can be done with a little more than 1 group... our group was a guild group and we are EP geared.. im the cleric have ft 22 atm , with a 7.7k mana pool... the mana did not seem to be a problem.. we also placed the casters behind the wall and was never nuked or AE'd. I think this is a solid strat and will lead to a win...

Took 3 groups to try and take this mob out. We had two clerics and a strong tank heavy raid.

Jaeth is permarooted so it was easy to pull its guards away and kill them. MA attacked Jaeth and this is what happened.

I put the clerics behind the wall to hide from 1.5k AE. Jaeth hit for 1.7k. We got him down to 95% when peeps started dying. Other named assisted him and helped wipe us.

I'm pretty sure the wall protected cleric but not convinced. Not sure if 15 peeps was enough for this event or not. Raid force was EP and lower.

Thinking of finding which named are not permarooted and killing them first. And putting 3 clerics on MA and doing range fight on Jaeth like TZ.

The 3 Sharpshooter's are part of a single event. Clear the trash around them, kill the 3 Kyv's one after the other, 3rd drops an item + spell runes. We got 2 Greater Muramite Runes and a Shadowed Ring of Feathers. Elemental quality items/difficulty encounter.
