Still not there yet.. I did a /bug report about it. Hopefully they'll put him in in the next patch so my baby beastlord can actually finish this task...
He seems to be at /loc 980, 2950 pretty regularly now...

Here it is mid-November and he's still a no-show. I have even reported it as a bug. No answer. another hour and a half trying to do a task down the drain.
I too have yet to see this NPC. On the Beastiary Page someone replied to my query that they had spotted Brenyon Seng near the tunnel to Grimling Forest, but I have yet to see him. My level 52 Bard has never seen him on track either. I hope that somehow he is not connected to the Bear-v-Wolf war scenario. I also sent feedback in game though by the time this corrected my level [now 18] monk will be beyond any real xp surge.

I was not sure if this guy did not exist or if it was the zone that was broken. Both times tasks have sent me to Hollowshade no waypoint was displayed. I am going to track the zone also and see what I can find and am also going to see if another NPC will show on wayponit.

I don't think this guy exist in this zone. I received a task to talk to him and I never get a waypoint when I entered the zone. Then I loaded up my 50 Ranger and Tracked the entire zone and he never showed up on tracking. If anyone has a location, by all means post it.
