Duo this guy with a 70 necro and a 67 chanter. Still not such an easy fight, he does summon and max melee hit I took (chanter) was only 731. The thing you need to watch out for and what makes the guy a pain is the chain stunning he can do. Have taken him to 25% in less then a minute only to have necro or myself stunned and quickly cut down. He can be done solo and thers plenty of room once roaming dragorn is killed but if he gets a stun off and you dont resist it your done.

post script: This mob is mezzable (bliss and above) and slowable.

Killed this mob solo tonight with ease being a well equiped 70 Druid. Dropped mask and an Ornate Dragorn Sword Hilt.

A great place to setup camp is at the top of the hill near the quest NPC there. You can pull the murks out of the canyon pretty easy. Most are a single pull but if you have Pacify it will help. Poisionous seemed to pop about every 2 clearings. Common drop was the mask. Rare drops appeared to be the Stone and the Sword. Took us 4 or 5 poisionous before we saw the stone and never saw the sword. Maybe it has been nerfed or the others were lucky hehe.

Yes, it's a good spot, and you can kill the Battleleader and his placeholder also, as he wanders up the ramp.

BL is a little tougher than the PM, but not much.

It seems it can spawn at any of the Murkglider spawn points past Slavedriver Menlo. We had it pop back to back in random places both on the ledge and below in the pit, seeing it maybe once per clearing on average.

Snare/rootable iirc. Summons. Casts(?) a single target stun. Mitigates slow just like all the 65+ Murks seem to. He can 4x for something around 800.

Dropped Kuuan Traitor Stones every time. Also saw a lesser rune drop, as well as the mask.

Interesting.. I have only killed him a handful of times, but he has always spawned at the same spot: Looking south down the valley from Vorkiev, it is the fourth Murkglider spawn spot, and the first one that is a level 65 Deathgrime.

I don't think Murks spawn on the ledge, maybe the first one you killed had been pulled out of the pit by someone who had to evac??

Edit: Killed here a bit more, and he can spawn in multiple spots, but I have only seen him where the level 65 (deathgrime) murks are placeholders.

So - looking down from Vorkiev, the 4th, 5th and 6th spots (at least) can spawn him.

Classes to solo

Well lvl 67 mob shouldn't be a probleme for a well equiped Necro or a druid : Root, snare, dot, wait for summon, step back, dot, self heal, etc etc just keep him roted : )

A well equiped druid with all the defensive AAs can solo this guy. Stun can hurt as well as the quad hits - if he gets quad for max then there is trouble especially if a stun lands. But he is doable solo - done it a time or 3. 1st time I did him though I had to evac (panic)but after that the other times I just kept myslef in his face letting my DS eat him, SoGrove, heal, dot, nuke, heal till dead. He dies quick enough, only troble I have had is the quad for max or near max dmg.

He summons around every 4 secs, so this would be quite a risky strategy - although possible with spell haste I guess (I think druid fast heals are around 3.75 secs).

I tracked and triangulated "A poisonous murkglider" to an area approximately p1000, p1000. I believe Bonecracker also spawns in that area.

Sorry I couldn't be more precise, but Stone Thrower was up and getting to that area would have involved sharing close proximity to a wandering raid mob. Thanks Sony.

He also drops a lvl 68 rune. I soloed him and was a easy kill.

Was it a random spawn or does it have a static location?
