Burly gnolls have teeth.
# Jan 02 2002 at 5:39 PM Rating: Default
These gnolls do drop teeth but not as often as other gnolls, they also drop weapons(rusty) and rarely crappy gems like lapis lazuli and cats eye agate. They also sometimes drop cloth armor (large or medium)
loot?

Not hard

These things are not very hard at all, but this could be because i am level 18? *shrug*, even when i came here at low levels they didn't do much.. =\

Gnolls are not too bad and these guys are one of the lower level of gnolls out there. With my original character I took myself from 5-12 hunting gnolls. Just make sure you don't aggro a bunch of them at once and you will be okay.
Burlys

Hey. I have a 10th lvl mage and i can take 2 burlys a patroling and the 2 gnools that camp with the burly. There not that hard but i wouldn't try them tell at least 7 or 8

WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN THEY DON"T HIT HARD!!!!!!!!!!

I HAVE A 10 SHAMAM 237 AC AND THEY HIT FOR LIKE, UP TO 30 DAMGAE
#Anonymous, Posted: Nov 08 2000 at 11:18 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) jackass. If you're level 1 with no armor, they obviously hit harder than that. I am level 7 with a full set of leather and got hit for 15-20 every time.

i have to agree , these burly's can stun a lvl 8 in full gear if you let them catch you wrong. let one of these and an Elite guard get on you and if you are under lvl 12 YOU ARE TOAST!

Ditto, my lvl 8 enchanter gets hit for upwards of twenty points. Granted enchanters enchanters aren't suited for combat as much, but he hit my pet for just as much and my pet cons "quite a gamble".
A burly gnoll

Depends on your gear. You'll probably be alright though.
