May be bugged. He kept my Sliver of the High Temple and didn't give me any text. I am petitioning and /bugging it.
This isn't the first time I had trouble with this NPC.
update- got piece back. He worked fine.

I turned in the sliver to this guy and got the qvic flag okay, but he didn't give the slover back and I need it for txevu access turn in, anyone know if there's something I can say to him to get it back?

I have been doing the Ikky group trials and I'm stuck at Crumbled Sanctuary. Do I have to have a high skill in tailoring to do make the Sewn Flesh Parchment? Or is this step even necessary? The parts are No Trade, so another can't make them for me.

He's at -2000, +1300 in Kod'Taz, behind a rock in the south of the zone, where the path splits in two for the different Yxtta entrances.
You hand him your Sliver of the High Temple (from Ikky 4) while you have the Fragment of the High Temple (from Uqua) on you. He hands you back the Sliver; zone out of KT and you will get a message about the magic protecting Qvic softening. You can then enter Qvic.

I jsut did this and although i recieved experience and some text saying goto the npc in abysmal if I have an other information about keys, when i zoned out to natimbi i received no text message and couldnt zone into qvic

Follow these simple steps:
1. In KT, head over to Tublik Narwethar
2. Be invis
3. Say 'Progress update'
4. Hand in the piece you won from Ikky 4, but have Uqua piece on you
5. He will give it back with a bunch of yellow text
6. Zone into QVIC through KT
After you zone in through QVIC from KT, you can then use the npc outside the KT stone to port directly to QVIC.
1. In KT, head over to Tublik Narwethar
2. Be invis
3. Say 'Progress update'

6. Zone into QVIC through KT

I followed those steps to the letter, and it didn't work. I am someone who has no GoD progression at all beside the KT flag, the Uqua stone, and the Ikkinz4 stone.
I followed the steps (the dwarf gave me back the stone, I got the xp message etc. etc.), and up to the the #6, I got the message "You do not meet the requirements for entering the zone." when trying to zone through KT into Qvic.
I found out that you actually need to *ZONE OUT* from KT first, and then zone back in. You'll get a red line with the following message : "The magical barrier protecting Qvic softens as you pass through it." (I know, the message is weird since you just re-zoned into KT).
Then, do not bother zoning to Qvic through KT, just RE-zone out of KT and hail Madronoa, the Nihil ghost at the KT stone in Natimbi, and /say her (him?) "I wish to travel".
You'll be tp'ed into Qvic, but be careful, at a place with no zone out so bring out your TPer friend or a gate potion if you're melee.

If you don't want to worry about going to KT/Natimbi zone in you can use the nearby Primals side of Yxxta to get the same message which allows you to use Madroana in Natimbi. A little quicker and alot less chance of running into see invis Ukuns than if had planned to run back to KT zone in.
Or just camp out and then log back in? I did that whilst sitting by Tublik Narwethar - I was then able to zone straight to Qvic. There was a see invis Kyv right at the Qvic zone in so I would have been a bit messed up if the zone had been blocked to me.

I just confirmed this myself, under the same circumstances. Your post saved me a lot of "wtf is going on" type comments in /gu and lots of digging around to figure out how to fix it. Thank you very, very much. =)
The guy for Qvik stuff. say "Progress update" to him and give him the Ikkinz4 bit.
