So far i have went through 36 a noc flesheater and have yet to see the 1.5 paladin drop. EDIT: On the 66th a noc flesheater it finally dropped. The mob that dropped it spawned in the north western room of the arena.

They try to run away at 15% health, they will end up pulling the entire zone on you as your trying to chase after them.

I got my drop in 5 kills. I went to the north most part of zone, tunnel that runs east to west. There were about 6 flesheaters up when I got there, didn't even have to kill the last one.

Tail semeed to be an uncommon drop. These are found in the hall near the Officiator. They look like the other noc types but lesson common.

drop seems to be ultra rare these days, been camping it for a couple of days now, and no drop what so ever.

70pal elemental/DoN/OoW geared
10.6k/2k or so self-buffed w/180-ish AAs

When I got my drop, I was rdy to try solo-ing these (very BAD idea for pally dps lol), instead I brought one of my favorite druids along, and he druid-charmed one of the caged pig things downstairs from the tunnel area. NICE dps boost.

Together, me and the druid + pet help the camp with a slow, but reasonable killrate. Got lucky that time and the 4th mob killed in one had the tail (yay!).

I wouldnt recommend solo-ing here, at all. Get at least a druid for heal/charm dps. /recommend preferably a chanty for mezz and some real dps classes to speed the mass slaughter, if any are available /wink

Is this a rare drop or is our group just unlucky?

these guys rampage and seem to mitigate snare. was tough to kite since he was still so fast with embracing darkness on. also i believe they drop a tail for the new paladin epic. hit around the same as mastruqs from my experience.
