Being hellbent on spawning the Fabled Xorbb during this year's anniversary period, I have killed probably 60 Fabled Evil Eye's that have spawned during my clearing of the zone. They don't drop either version of the slime staves. Whereas most Fabled mobs tend to drop their Fabled item in addition to items on their non-fabled treasure table, these Fabled Evil Eyes seem to drop only the Fabled PBBs (plus assorted vendor trash).

The levels for these mobs has changed. The level range of the Fabled Evil Eye is below 30. Not once did it con even to my then 31 mage.

These guys are still spawning. I am doing cultural armor task's and had 2 pop within 15min of each other.
I had my doubts as to whether this one was back or not, after spending over 2 hours and getting 2 regular PBBs. But he eventually spawned, and little shammy got a nice upgrade.
If you really want this drop you can get it, but it's definitely a rarer spawn than it was during the 5th anniversary.

In case anyone wants to chase after these, this guy is extinct. All the "fabled" mobs were for the 5th anniversary, and now they no longer spawn. If you missed out, too bad, as you won't be getting any fabled loot.

I thought I'd never see Rubicite Armor in the game again, or Manastones, or The Guise of the Deciever, but they have all been brought back at various times. Rubi was brought back in GM a event, same with the Manastone, and Guise is avaliable via the Kings Court Casino. So maybe oneday, these will return.

Looks like the Fabled will return around Anniversary time every year...
I cleared all the roamers, and a few hrs later this guy was roaming near the junction toward East Karana. Unfortunately, I was after a slime crystal staff and just got a fabled PBB -- which is not even worth using on my twinks.
EDIT: and then, 5 mins later, it respawns at the spot to the south of "the throne" - same Fabled PBB as before.

I just got a bunch of PBB's too and I was hoping for the staff. I don't think the fabled ee's drop it this year and there is no way that they are lvl 38; they conned blue to my 27 Enc.
