This mob taken down today by my 75 paly 450 aa's (most def aa's bought) backed up by 75 cleric...mob was dark blue to me, flurried for up to 4.5k dmg, AND enrages at 9%...was not a long fight....but is lvl 70...not 53 ...max hit on my paly was 1349 and some other hits over one k but not often as most were mitigated by gear and aa's....cleric started fight at almost full mana, ended fight around 20...so got healed alot /thanks galadri.....hope this helps you prepare
took him with a full 72 player raid of level 1 gnome rogues. we po-goed him back and forth for about a week. we were all bound in akanon so there was a steady stream of gnomes running out to naggies. we made a real name for ourselves on the evercrack server before the merger. its gone now. man those were the days.
at 75 now, easy solo for a 75 shaman, ended fight at about 65% mana. Most hits were in 250 area, but once in a while he'd hit a good flurry with a few 1k hits.
Yeah, my buddy used to play an anguish geared Paladin, sold his account, and recently started up again, this time as a Shadowknight. I figured since we were in the area doing Fabled, I'd hook him up with this Sword since he didn't have a 2hander atm, just BoD and Atramentous Shield. I believe he was about lvl 40 at the time, so he didn't really attribute much as far as damage dealing/taking goes. Just had him FD as I pulled him with my 70 Monk who is about 9.5k fully buffed, mostly elemental geared and only about 75 aa's.
First, I'd pull him down the ramp that leads to the first set of FG's right before the gate, FD, and pull him with my 70 Ranger who is 10khp 1900ac mostly PoP and DoD geared, with 1.5 and about 400 or so aa's as well. Wasn't quite sure what to expect, so I made sure I had Weaponshield up and rdy to go. Used my 70 Shaman with 10khp 8.5km fully buffed with 730aa's to HoT, quick heal, and leopard the two melee's. I tried to slow initially but that didn't work out very well, spent about 10-15 seconds trying to slow, just to realize they are immune, so in the confusion I had to bust out WS disc so the Ranger didn't fold like a lawn chair, dropped HoT, threw the Monk on his back, and went to town on him, fight lasted about 3-5 minutes.
Any time I got the chance to canni 4 and 5 I would, but since Ranger was on Rampage, as well as taking the full brunt of his rage, it was very important to actually pay attention to the rangers hp as he got hit rather than watching the group monitor on the Shaman, and make a judgement call based on specific circumstances, generally as I dropped a HoT so I knew I'd have a full 24 seconds worth of time without him getting beat down too quickly. But for the most part the Ranger's hp didn't spike too much, was pretty consistent which helped, but as you all know there are those few rounds that hit for max and blast the hell out of you.
By the end of the fight all 3 were pretty beat down because of Rampage, the Shaman had about 40% mana. I use Lingering Sloth spell to hold uber agro on the Ranger so I don't have to worry about sitting down for a second on my Shaman and having him rush to WTFPWN him in one round. All was well in the end and my buddy was happy to have a nice 2hander to use until he gets back into the swing of things(60+). Anyway, goodluck to all who try to take this guy out.
agreed, he was probably the toughest of all the fabled in SolB. Had 3 groups and he just clobbered all our tanks... ranger died shortly after weaponshield dropped and I tanked him with deftdance on for those last 3%
This guy is MEAN, as a 65 SK with over 180aa, bout 8.2k max buffed HP he was untankable for me. Flurries for nearly 2k. Went with some friends to kill this guy fer a friend's twink... ouch... yeah..
