I just spent an hour.. having Rucksif chase me around unrest... dot, run, dot, run... etc... then I missed re-doing my sow... and had to zone to get it back without him catching me... gone for no more than 30 seconds, and he was back to 100% hp..
I really wanna strangle the programmer with that bright idea at this point... lol (though I understand the reasoning dot-zone, dot-zone.. would not be a good thing)
as I had not had a drink in 1/2 hour and needed a smoke too... well maybe try again later or tomorrow, or bring some friends...

where do you find this fabeled creatures
Quick guess, about how much HP does he have?? If it's less than 3 to 5k a decently equipped 60+ cleric should be able to solo him I'd think.

I solod this guy easily with my 60 chanter. First I killed all the surrounding mobs then pulled him with tash. Got my hasted animation on him (quads for 55) and slow stuck just fine. From then it was a HP race. I chain casted Rune5 and Rampage on the pet and nuked a couple times. Finished with pet at 50 health and me at 25 mana. Looted nice boots with my SK )

I could not find him last night. He was on track, but I could not find him. Were does he live?
He's way down in the basement, about as far into the depths as you can go (past the mortuary fungus, where the terrors for the Mage epic are). Considering he was light blue at 61 he was doing a good job on my pet and the 55 Bard who I was exploring Unrest with looking for the Fableds... but as soon as I slowed him he was a wuss. Wouldn't want to try fighting him in a 40s level group without a slower though.

fabled reclusive ghoul drops a pair of fabled gloves with summoning mana efficency i killed him with my ranger and got the gloves, but not ranger useable
As of yesterdays patch The Fabled Garanel Rucksif is also un-stunable. He's also immune to run speed changes.

Ok so last night was the patch to recon the fabled guys. We found the fabled and he conned dark blue to a 58 bard and light blue to a 65 ranger. He was hitting use for between 80-190hps, but consider our lvls. Under 55 you better expect 200+ hits. Dropped the complete list of loot for the regular Garanel including fabled boots.
Could the 65 Ranger land a headshot on him? I was under the impression that SOE buffed the level of these mobs up for the sole purpose of prevented Rogues and Rangers from performing Assasinations/Headshots, but if he's still light blue than they should still be able to land them.

hits for a max of 283, killed him 5 or 6 times so far.
Sad thing is garanel isnt fabled, he's hardly even known. Everyone who's hunted unrest knows torklar, half them think he's the ghost that drops the boots tho.

LOL... but a Fabled Torklar Battlemaster would be a level 45 mob that could wipe whole Time-geared raids in 30 seconds :).

Fabled Reclusive Ghoul Magus is broken - only drops normal loot.
