Ok done this mob twice. First time we had 1 wave of about 8 adds, AE taunt and ran around, they then despawned and 1 grey guy spawned next to named which we off tanked. Killed name was cake walk.

This time we are currently trying to do it and getting 5-9 or so mobs spawn every few seconds, they despawn (saying and emote of running out of life etc) then more spawn and despawn, people are getting lagged out with emotes they are doing it so much, scrolling up I have about 20+ emotes all at once with nothing else logged between them. They just seem to be spawning over and over and despawning.

Also there is a FD going off that hit me for 5400 which never happened last time.

Have they updated this or something?

Continued to try this and after 2 wipes of mob spawning a stupid ammount of adds over and over we hactually had maybe a 15 second gap after first wave which menat we burnt named most the way, got another wave, enough stayed alive to finish named. Then the grey guys were left, had 2 killed them and one repopped over and over about 7 times but jsut kept killing him and eventually he stayed down.

Another 30 or so people Qvic flagged for our guild.

The Coalition of Black Tower & Crystalline Waters on Tunare downed him on 7/11/06 with 28 members left alive. (We got him down to 1% on our first attempt, so was very pleased with our second attempt here!)

We had paladins stunning and kiting the light grey adds. The casters lined themselves up against the left wall (as your facing in toward the room) and we fought Keeper of the Altar right where he stood. We removed all damage shields, and were given specific instructions NOT to damage any of the adds.

Being one of the paladins, I am unable to comment on what everyone else was doing, other than screaming and running for their lives. Once Keeper is dead, get the heck out of that room. Gather in a safe place down the hall a bit, and the adds will despawn soon enough.

Justice League of Norrath on Tunare downed this guy at roughly 11:15pm EST. Dropped 2 Gem Inlaid Ritual Cloaks, Sharp Irestone Fragment and the melee Spaulders. 1 Wipe, kicked *** 2nd time :P

Once you get a good solid strategy for this raid, it is actually very easy to farm. We can do a Ikkinz 4 run in less then 2 hours now. But then my guild Evening Reign is one of the few if not the only guild to have beat Ikkinz 4 before ever stepping foot into Time. Yes it is possible.

well..ikki 4 sucks.
So i dont think many guilds will do it more as 2 times to get peeps qvic flagged. affter that no ikkinz anymore.
So its REALY hard to get that darn tome.
Should be atleast in the loot table of more as 1 mob.

you need ikki4 for 0.5 qvic key.
You need uqua for the other 0.5.

This mob is very hard. my guild is in the process of flagging people for uqua now. only hits for 3k but the adds can be a major problem. Set up someone to DA and run in to agro adds once they pop. then have them run to right or left. have raid run in other side a zerg away. tried to have chanter use AE tash and leash them but didn't work as well as we had hoped. our healing power was a little low too, so all tanks were down pretty fast. rangers ws'ed for 30 secs and bought us some time to get mob to 24%. we wiped this time around but will down him again for sure next time. quick note, only get 1 flag for each person that was alive and in ikkinz once the keeper dies.

You don’t need Ikkinz raids, to get into Uqua as far as I know. Which trial is this mob in?

I think you're confused with Yxtta, which is available as soon as you get KT flagged, from what I understand you do need all Ikkinz trials to get to Uqua, correct me if I'm wrong...

you dont need ikkinz to get to uqua.
You need ikkinz 4 for half of the qvic key
And uqua for the other half.
Both can be enterend once kt flagged wich is done trough a tipt.

You were right Grunnon, he went down to us last night, succeeding with 21 left alive when he went down.
We can pretty much fly thru this trial now till we get to this mob, he has been a real pita for us. So we tried something alittle different this time and had kiters agroing the adds and kiting around the room. This worked really well and gave healers enough time to keep the dps alive long enough to get him down, unfortunately it got alittle messy after he died because of the adds. That coulda been caused due to a number of things, but everyone did an awesome job and we were able to leave with a Win and 21 more ppl with their Sliver's!

my guild is mid doing him now, since i just died, thought i would let you know what ive found out so far, he hit me for a max of 3018 (altho i dont know if that is his max) and procced a single target dd for 900, as well as an ae knock back for 500, every 20-30 seconds he spawns a bunch of adds that only hit for in the 1000s from what i could tell, and they despawn after about 30 seconds, they are unmezzable. anyway sorry i couldn't give you a more detailed look at it, but definately not an easy fight.
