I haven't gotten spider or spiderling silk from these. And I've spent most of three days after the buggers, trying to get stuff for the first HighElf armor quest.

Darned creepy crawlies, holding out on me.

These seem to drop lots more silk than other types of spiders. 2 stacks of silks in 8 kills. Dropping 4 or 6 spider silk every time.

this is true. i went farming spider silk there and was getting 4-8 silks every 9 out of 10 kills
