Can anyone tell me where this guy spawns? I would assume it is in the jail area. Which spawn point is his PH?
Camped this guy with my Shaman/SK combo yesterday after getting 3 blades for the final quest piece. This is not an easy spawn break, and without Shammy VP, probably would have been a wipe. You will get 3 in first room if prison warden is spawned. You will likely get 3 in second room where Maufin is as well.
Suggest full buffs before you try this camp (SK is 7300hps/Shaman over 5k buffed), or sufficient people to handle 3 lvl 60 mobs. Mobs HT, and heavy nukers here, unless one of the spawns is a spider.
I also picked up 2 more blades in about 4 spawn cycles, and got Maufin on two consecutive spawns. Only dropped the spear both times, though.

Forgot to add that after getting all the pieces for the earring quest, because of the new patch, quest npc's have to be freed again. At least I have the parts for the quest once they're up again.

Ok i have been camping in the area of the warden who i have seen many times for over a week spending about 6 hours a day in there. I have yet to see the Jailor pop even once. Does he pop in the same area as the warden or perhaps behind the bars in the actual jail.
I am getting frustrated I have the 3 blades of the deperadors but still need the symbol from the jailor.

No. Nothing in this zone summons (except maybe some of the triggered spawns for the prisoner rescue event--not sure there).

Does he still drop the Knuckles ?
I've killed him something like 15+ time and he always droped the Spear.

I have had same experience dont pop often and when you eventualy see him always seems to drop the spear.

Killed him 4 times, 3 times we got the Monk/Bst weapon that is alot better then the rogue one.
I allways thought mnk/bst was the common but hearing from others I guess we just had a load of luck :)
Definatly worth camping this guy, spawns in the jail area, the middle one of the 3 guys furthest inside in the little room with 5 spawns (6 spawns if the 6 hour prisoner questguy is up)

ive also camped this guy a fair amount of times and yes, the poster above did get really lucky. Id say ive seen him pop about 5 times and gotten 4 spears and only 1 mnk/bst weap. You can tell if he has it cause the spiked knuckles look like a knuckle duster, and he will be holding whatever weapon he is going to drop. The spear, which isnt really that bad of a weapon itself looks like a plain old rusty spear when he weilds it.
