Annihilate the Unnatural doesn't work on these for some reason?

Just tried Destroy Summoned (pre-70 summoned nuke) and Turn Summoned (Summoned DoT aa/ 2% chance 32k nuke).
No, these are in fact not flagged as summoned as far as I can tell.

Fire nukes eats them up though. Nothing over 9k hp. No resists yet.

I think they went through during revamp and changed a lot of the names.

Not Charmable, no longer summoned?
# Nov 12 2003 at 6:19 PM Rating: Default
I was there a few days ago and was planning on charming one of these to use against the highborns. They are no longer summoned beings apparently. Destryo Summoned cannot be cast on these, nor can CotAM or Elemental Silence.

This could be a bug, or an intentional nerf.

For the other mages & druids out there, these are flagged as summoned.

Pull out those dusty ole summoned nukes/mezzes/charms and go to town!

I am 90% sure he dropped a Flame of Fennin for my group the other night. We were doing the golem camp, and as such almost all of our kills were Iksar Golems. This did drop from that camp, at any rate. The only other things we killed were the random vessel, massive golem (which I know didn't drop this), a shopkeeper or two, and a spellbinder or two (annoying little buggers). Anyhow, it will make some mage in our guild a little happy. :)

Edit: seeing as he does drop Writ of Quellious, it seems even more likely he dropped the Flame of Fennin for us and not one of the other mobs.

Resistant to Fear

65 DE SK here, I tried fearkiting these the other day. These mobs are VERY resistant to fear. I tried pulling to the long dead-end hall where the one patroller goes, figuring this would be a great place to kite. Well, I pulled with Festering Darkness (landed no problem), cast Aura of Darkness (landed no problem), cast Ignite Blood (landed no problem), hit it a few times with my Journeyman's Walking Stick (Tash landed no problem), backed up a bit, lifetapped (landed no problem), cast Invoke Fear - problem. Iksar Golem resisted all of my Invoke Fear spells, even while tashed and with Aura of Darkness still active. Message never said "immune", the message said "resisted". Granted, the magic resist debuffs I put on the mob are not that great (tash -23, AoD -10, Invoke Fear -20 = -53 total), these can't be fearkited unless (maybe) you have someone that can cast better debuffs.

There is one of these down near the theatre/fountain area that doesn't aggro you even when it walks right by you. It could brush shoulders with you and keep walking by.

We were even fighting a mob right in his path. He walked right on by.

Oh well. Its one of the funniest bugs I've seen :)
also dropped

Low cold resists. Max hit of around 242 on a 65 monk. Around 11k HP's or so.

Probably worth adding that they summon :). I was going to aggro kite one with my Necro until it started summoning me, so I ended up just tanking it instead...

I know most of the undead in Veksar summon, but wasn't sure whether the golems did too.
