Ok, once I killed a faerie and it dropped a saphire. But ever since when I kill them, I have never gotten another gem. Do all the faeries drop gems, because it doesn't say gems under known loot for any of them. Or was it just a bug or luck that I got a gem from one?

I took 2 of these with my 20 warrior, i was just messin around with my 2HS, my 2hs sucks horribly, its at very bad but i still took two of these with an executioners axe, they were the easiest exp i have ever had.

I was fighting a fairenobel with my lv 17 shaman and the next thing i know I am rooted by this rguard did not know they could cast

I killed a faerie royal guard when I was lvl 24 and it conned green to me.

Because she spawns in LESSER Faydark

I helped a shaman track one of these. He was trying to kill one and get it's cloak for a quest. He said they were actually evil and that killing it would not damage faction with other fairies.

I was at level 7 on orc hill outside of Kelethin fighting 3 orc centurions with my paladin buddy. To help us out I was twisting in chords of dissonance which does radius damage to all npc's.
We were doing ok and would have made it just fine, when a Royal Guard flew into the radius. I had never seen one before or since (must be kind of rare). But they make a "boing" sound when they first decide to start attacking and attack she did. Between her and the orcs I was dead before I realized what was happening. Ugh faeries are off my list.

A faerie royal guard is at the most lvl 22.

not true i have been killing these things for a while (cause i like it) and they con red and yellow to me at level 20 so i know for a fact that they can be higher then 22. hehe they don't drop very good stuff but the other faries do lots of gems. so its worth it to track them down and killem by the dozens, for the lower levels.
