Extremly easy mob can trio it np. Pally cleric or druid or shammy for spot heals and 1 dps prefer rogue so pally/cleric/rogue. max hit is 850 is perma rooted has alot of hp (what luclin mob doesnt) spawn timer is 6 days.
Just wanted to clarify something that set us back a bit. Although he IS slowable, we had it only partially take. The shaman malo line stuck (60 lvl malo wore off almost immediately) but he resisted the 51 shaman slow, Turgurs every time. We ended up sticking Cloud of Grummus on him finally, but it only came out partially. Other debuffs and cripple were all resisted, including the ranger epic slows. Wizzy's reported that lure lines went thru unaffected.
Also found that attempting to debuff him from the doorway, none of the debuffs stuck, but once we got into his lair, slow finally did partial. Not sure if this was due to casting under him like a dragon or what. He flurries like a badboy too =D

First try, 2 groups, MA and SA were 63 pally and 59 pally, both with 6k HP / 1200 AC, roundabouts. Only one cleric in raid, two druids, one shaman. MA went down, SA tanked until 40%, but simply not enough healing power.
Second try, same two groups. Same thing happened again - next try, we added a higher level tank, a 65 warrior, two clerics, and a couple more DPS and it was complete and utter overkill.
He flurries a lot, did not rampage but did enrage at about 10%. As SA for the first two attempts, he max hit me for 650, but most commonly hit me for 200 - 400 range. Max melee range is also very important for this guy, as if he pushes the MA out of range in the water, he will immediately try to eat the closest person to him, being perma rooted.
Oooookkkaayyyy, We wiped at 2% first go around cuz he just outlasted our mana and my backup healer wasted her mana nuking and most of them got resisted and those that actually hit landed for maybe 20% of total damage. He flurries alot and to the person who said their ranger tanked this fine they are smokin the good stuff. Disease slow landed, eventually, and was only partial. MY advice to anyone doing this is pets and melle, dont waste mana on a nuke that wont land, he was tashed and malo and still had trouble. Has a whole lotta HP and AC. 2nd time was cake as we added 2 pets to the 2 rogues 1 monk, 1 sk and 1 uber 65 war. Also threw my uber cleric pet at it. >:)
He hits for around 600. killed him again today with 2 beastlords, shammy, cleric, druid and necro. Was a close fight and th beastlords shared agro and worked together well. droped the primal crudgel and talisman, which made me and my wife very happy. how many hps...dunno, but he has alot, necro used life burn at 20%, took him to 18 or so...dunno if that helps you, ive never played a necro. dont bother casting much nukesor dots on it, he resists alost everything. hes permarooted, have your debuffers malos, mali.decay, and disease slow it, and have your melee go in. with maliDecay i still couldnt get any disease dots to land, so i just helped heal the best i could.
He isn't completely magic resistant, i was camping him one day waiting on my group to show up and started working on evocation on him, landed 1 spell out of like 40 casts. So he isnt completely, but might as well say he is.
I slowed this punk last night with Turgurs now that really makes the fight a joke. I malos'd him the chanter tashed him and the bard Harmony of sounded him with pure tone disc and slow landed like a charm btw if you do this make sure to reslow just before the pure tone disc wears off as w/o it you will get ALOT of resists before turgurs lands.
I would love to know if any one has pulled this off before cause I have a feeling it is a first.
Btw a shaman or a druid could heal in a 1 group situation easily when you land turgurs on him.
puretone has no effect on harmony of sound, or any other percussion based song. puretone is for singing only. if he was a good bard he had his best drum equipted for it though.
Actually Puretone works as a 2.8 mod for all instruments. If you have a TDoK or better equipped Puretone offers no added benefit to your percussion based songs.
Ok I see one refrenece to the Evolved burrower having an identical loot table to the restless burrower, but can anyone attest to the fact that they've actually seen the Talisman of the Burrower drop off the new one?
I've seen most of the other drops, but not that one.
1 grouped him with Pally/cleric/druid/ranger/rogue/and boxed shammy(by pally) was able to slow him with cloud of grummus with 3-4resist each time before it landed dropped wormharness/headdress/BoA/khura focusing/hammer of souls. belt went to a 32 sk alt and headdress to 52 necro
This guy is a pushover, took him out with 8 people last week. 2 clerics, 2 warriors, paladin, shaman, druid, wizard and enchanter. Unslowable and highly resistant. Took us about 10-15 minutes to kill him with this low DPS but very do able!

we took him down today with 25 players, was an overkill. He flurries, but not a lot, and he can be slowed with turgurs, though he partially resisted it. Poison and disease based spells landed just fine, but cold ones were always resisted. He dropped 2 items and 3 spells, plus the luclinite orb.
I have been checking on this mob alot and he is always in the "mutated Chrysalis" stage So im either missing him when he grows and gets taken down or. Or i dont know. anyone have any info?
