No malo or slow would stick, only thing I really got to land were the sk's lifetap line of spells, and poison Dots and DD's.

Well the unresistable malo-line should have sticked for sure. He is completely immune to disease though (-200 Necro debuff wouldnt stick).
Fire worked fine after he was Scent of Terrised. Before there were partly resists. Level 85 nec without UF and HoT here with T5 Merc and EM6 pet.

As everyone has mentioned, Gintolakan mem blurs and procs a vicious single target slow on whoever he has aggro on.
The mem blur isn't an issue, if you handle the slow.
SETUP --- Place MT in the SW corner of the zone, after you clear all of the trash around Gintolakan. His guards can be split with either a bard, or a standard FD pull.
The rest of your raid force sets up at MAX casting range on the south wall, east of your MT.
You do not need a rampage tank. He AE ramps like Fennin Ro, so just stay out of the AE box and you are fine.
The Pull -- I used SK snare to pull him to generate high aggro and keep him from going after healers on inc. The MT AE taunted him off of me instantly, and I FD'ed. Once MT calls assist SK gets up and moves back to the raid team for heals.
The Fight -- PALADINS ARE TO DO NOTHING BUT SPAM GRC ON THE MT. Think GRC rotation for teh win.
For the first 40% of his life I kept the raid at a ranged fight. Using pets pushing in from the North to pin Gintolakan into the SW corner.
Trueshot called at 80%. Nukers casting moderately beginning on Assist call.
At 60% the melee's were sent in. Offensive discs optional at this time depending on your dps and healer mana.
All melee must use MAX MELEE range to lessen the AE ramp damage and minimize aggro loss on the MT.
*****All melee were instructed to back out of the fight should they get hit with AE's or Ramp and fall to 50% life or lower and get a heal. Don't worry about low life aggro dragging him to healers, if you are at that point he will summon you to the corner and splat you.**********
At this point the fight is academic.
Maintain your RGC rot and keep your healers in mana and Gintolakan is pwned with no casualties to your raid team unless someone doesnt duck out of his AE range when they get hit.
If you cleared slowly, you may plant a knight or war as an offtank guard to watch for any respawns from behind.

this guy is level 77
Has anyone ever gotten anything in any slow line to land on this guy?

When he blurs you get a message "Warlord Gintolaken slams against the ground and looses focus on the battle" It is random and can be hard to see during the battle. He sometimes may only cast it once or not at all. This blur combined with his 90% slow nakes keeping agro tuff. Have a hot key ready to call out being slowed to get cured and you can keep agro the whole fight :D. If your slow cures have been shakey you may need to call "blured" and have another tank step in with area taunt to get agro. This is messy cause of the change over on heals :/

Selos blocks the slow
Although I've only fought him once (won first try), I'd have to say he's probably the hardest non-pantheon mob in the elementals. Warlord Gintolaken has truckloads of hitpoints, AE Rampages, has a nasty, nasty AE, and oh yeah, mem blurs! Weeee.
-Quads 2125 max @ 16 delay. Churned out 1159dps to me including AE damage, but I died at 4%. =(
He's a lot of fun though, and by the time you get to PoE-B, he's a fresh challenge in terms of mob difficulty. Enjoy the loot!

Dependant on AC and dmg mitigation you have, are you a caster?
Max hits are always subject to the recipient's AC, so what one calls a max hit will hit another for more with less AC, until you reach the bottom which is most likely your silk wearers.
