clobbered him w a 74 necro, pet could have taken him maybe, mana drain on his hits?

what quest is he in and what do i need to say to him to get a response ??
really interested !!! but not about to try and off him alone! (61 DRUID)
been trying to get my pure blood off the mobs here and keep running into him in the back entrance.

Party member accidentally hit him. Shredded a 66 necro quickly. Not a 44 mob by any means (con or not). He was bright green and made a Necro Sandwich outta me.

Well, my guild organised a group to take a trip to Torgiran for a bit of fun. The group consisted of 2clerics, Shadow Knight, Necromancer, Ranger and Shaman, avg level was around 54, after ploughing through a few miners we came across Gandak Whisperwind. He cons DB to me at 57. Anyways we decide to have a go at him (not realising he is a Quest NPC). We pulled him to a clear spot to avoid aggro from other miners and begin to hack away at him. he hits very fast and hard, cannot be snared and has ultra high slow resists. the cleric quickly organised a Cheal system and we dug in for the long haul. After an epic battle, dealing in excess of 20k damage and clerics being OOM with shammy taking over healing duties we managed to whack him with no deaths 
the group drool at the possibilities of what this mob might drop. were upset to find no loot at all on the bugger. lol but after finding out he is a quest NPC it all falls into place. Never mind was still a good fight

Whispernuts!! I HATE YOU! lol I met this guy the first time at about level 55 while soloing in Torg for my Scryers Tresspass spell. I had a charm break and headed for zl, got 3 adds, so I AE stunned, not seeing him. The stun didn't stick to him and he proceeded to beat the hell out of me. 35 my ****** Anyway, I didn't get the spell that day, and about a week ago I had a 60 SK with me, and I was a 61 chanter at the time. Well, we saw him and my bro wanted to kill him, so I was all for it. We got him to about 90%, He's unslowable by the way, and I guess he still had a taste for my blood because the SK couldn't hold agro off of me. We died, came back with a 65 necro and a 55 cleric. He was a TOUGH fight. I reallize he's a quest NPC but I owed him one. It took us 4 CH's on the SK, and I had to zone once because the SK still couldn't hold agro. Very odd. Took us a good 5 minutes to kill him. I'd say he's got about 50K hp's. He respawns almost immediately, so I'm gonna go kill him one more time just to get a good calculation of how many hp's he's got. Tough cookie, he was tougher than a couple of my epic mobs.
Heh this guy is dire charmable atm.

i do not like him sam i am, i ran into this guy my mistake (didnt notice the name and pulled him) im a 63 bst with 40aa, he does in fact take mana from you, i had to let my pet fight so i could keep mana and ended up gettting him down to 14% (pet dead and my life was at 25% as soon as i stepped in and started swinging he took all my mana so GL to all.

How and where do you spawn this guy at?
I read the most likely spot to find him was near the Dulak's zone line (miners are PH). After wiping out the miner spawns there for a few hours I decided to explore with camo up. I found Gandak up near a small pool of water surrounded by Luggalds inside the troll fortress in the mines. I was able to do the turn in without the Luggalds noticing and gated out.

I had a 64 well equipped Pally engage this dude and was getting a beating! Completely wrong con. Hits fast and very hard and also very hard to hit him. Don't engage unless you have a lot of help or want to run for the zoneline!
