I soloed Eichvul as a 24 Warrior with Temp and a few shammy buffs. I killed Eichvul just for the exp. I toyed with him a bit, just to get a feel for him (I can solo reds and yellows with the buffs I had on). I wanted to see if I could kill Eichvul while the goblin lackey was healing him, and the goblin managed to keep his HP pretty steady, although they were still going down. I recommend taking out the goblin first, as he is a lower level and will go down much quicker. After that, Eichvul goes down pretty much the same. Wizzys can't cast if they're spells are interrupted, so slash the heck outta him. Here's what they dropped for me:

Rooted him just for fun. Now I know why he looked at warmly, he's a dark elf wizard too. Granted I was L46, but he was casting some nice spells on me. I don't know what faction hit you might get, but I would guess Spurrned - since that's what I am.
A named goblin spawns after you attack him. He heals him and is a lower level.
