Killing this mob starts a 15 minute timer and starts the Corinav event. If Corinav isn't dead within 15 minutes of this mob dieing everyone in area gets ported to PoK and Corinav will despawn. This will cause event to not respawn again for several days. So don't kill it thinking that it maybe a group named mob.
Killing this mob and letting timer run out was method some guilds used to prevent other guilds from killing Corinav thus blocking other guilds progression.

the hydra's in SC do have armor...its just all on thier back...BTW 200hydra's fully upgraded pwn!

Not really, this guy has armor, Hydras are like, nakid bugs =p
Hydra's have armor! play some more starcraft! also you can see a hydra on warcraft III which is a 3D model and on starcraft ghost previews, they have armor!
