Took me a while to find this pup. He is on a plateau up above the waterfall. You can run up the waterfall to get there or go around to the left and go up the hill. Was an easy fight for 63 BST with merc healer.
Ok, this mob didn't resist anything we threw at it. I had DMF running, went up, aggro'd him, brought him down to the BST and between pets and dots, it died quickly. 71 nec and 56 bst.
Me(65nec), and my friend(54bst) duo this guy today, i had a pet suspended just in case. Sent in pets first, then just went mad on our spells, summond a couple times but it never broke through my forceshield. never proc'd knockback on me or my pet, i dont know if it was broken or what.
at end of fight i had 20mana and me friend had 0m... doubt i coulda solo'd it, lifeburn still up and pet still in suspend. just let our pets tank and we healed them best we could til we got the totem =)
65 BST, 65 Druid, 65 Mage, 56 Ranger, and 53 Rogue all waited at top of waterfall while I did turn in. They killed it before I even got to the top of the waterfall. Only about 30 seconds. Was my last spirit and I must say easiest...the Bear was tough.
Me a 65 Bst and a 59 Druid and a 65 chanter took this guy down in nothing flat. I think the druid healed 1 time durung the whole fight. I never had to heal my pet at all.
Did this one with a 65bst, 56 cleric, and myself (52 bst). They went on the cliff as I did the turn in, spirit was at 70% by the time I got up there and we just smacked it around for a few seconds then it died. No one needed a heal. My magic resist was at 174. Hardest part was running to stonebrunt twice daily for a week, seeing if the scout was up.
the waterfall is right next to the spirit quest giver. IT is a huge waterfall, I was MT and did not see the mob in the falls I was as high as i could get - someone spotted the mob from the quest giver loc and they came and pulled it, mob wasn't really hard - not sure if we manged to slow it, the ae dispell did make it a long fight, also it has a knock back. The mob is nothing more than a blue whisp.
This guy is simple had a 65 bst 63 druid (me) and 57 bst. Took him down in 5 mins. I healed the 65 bst 2 times with natures infustion didnt go below 90 mana. does have a small stunn effect but i didnt feal it since i was back a bit from him but the tanks did. i de debuffed with eci's frosty breath and hand of ro. simple quick dont need a whole group. Just a MA to take the agro...
I tried this guy with me (56 bst) and a 55 mage cuz noone else was willing to help us, bleh. anyway we chained pets at him for a while, actually got him down to 60% health =). He procs a stun/dispell which quickly took away all my buffs when i pulled him down from waterfall. He also procs a knockback, so dont try to fight him up there, there is a way to the left of the waterfall to get up quickly. and if you are gonna chain pets at him, DON'T CAST on him or he will summon you and beat you up. anyway mage cast too many and got repeatedly summoned and beat on. after a while we decided enough was enough and he tried to gate while i made one more pet and high-tailed it to the boat to zone. mage died, and i left my pet and ran thinking i was going to get summoned and killed. Luckily i didnt and made it! had to go back for mage's corpse though which was right underneath the spirit where we had left him. I threw another pet at spirit, ran in and grabbed corpse and booked it out of there again. again i didn't get summoned ). So im thinking, this would probably be fairly do-able with 4 good pet classes (bst, mage, necro) just chaining pets at him in sequence and not casting. maybe ill give it another shot.
I was able to kill this one with a single group and I must say it was the easiest of all the spirits. It procs knockback against whoever its hitting.
I recommend a high level tank (55+) and a high level cleric to start the group. Fill the rest as you like, but try to get as much dps as possible to save the cleric's mana.
The scout is located near the waterfall at the north-eastern edge of the zone. The mob spawns on top of the waterfall. You lev to get up there to pull it, but dont waste your time trying to run up the waterfall itself, that can take up to 4-5 minutes to do. Instead, go to the west of the waterfall and you will find that the cliff isnt as steep. You can make it up in less than a minute.
