We killed him last night here on Kane Bayle, a first time for our guild, having a very interesting encounter with him. We cornered him nicely so that no caster or healer would have to be hit with the AE, and worked him down nicely. When he was at 15%, our tank died though, and it wasn't possible for any warrior to hold aggro on him. Therefore, we quickly switched tactics to zerging all possible damage we could on him, knowing that we would fall one by one.
I died with Fennin Ro at 1%, but he finally met his doom with 1/6 of our raid force still alive.
The AE is some HP/mana drain DoT, not sure about stats.. He does not summon any adds. The range of the AE is 100, not too hard to avoid as long as one keeps him in place.

When your MA gets down, no war can grab agro again on Fennin, if MA goes down before 20% everyone tries to camp/blur fennin

How about you try and not be a moron. He clearly said the MT went down and no other tanks could hold aggro after that so they just layed all the dps they had into him. Something most guilds are left having to do at one time or another.

My guild just droped him with 58. No deaths. He droped 2 tunics, and a pair of elemental silk leggings.. First time for our guild, but im sure it wont be the last one.
I nor my guild are close to the elementals but just wondering what kind of tricks this guy has as far as AE's, Procs, add spawning etc.
I assume nothing this far into the game would be as simple as melee.

Hope Stones drop in elemental planes. Unless you are someone's pet twink, by the time you are in the elemental planes you are level 65 in one of the main guilds on your server.
By the time you get there, you will realize that the book really isnt worth it.
And Preservation of Xegony is a worn effect, not a "clickey".

When a guild has the power to get this done, its members should already have better items. This is a ton of work and the pay off is just not worth effort.

I cannot think of a guild that would go up against Fennin Ro, that has even a single person in their guild with a peice of gear better than anything Fennin Ro drops. And saying "it's members" that's implying more than 1. So you're saying 100 people all have much better gear than anything Fennin Ro drops before they get to Fennin Ro.

hrm, i got the hope stone in a PoFire group... so i decided to do the beginners manuals. i helped a friend kill rallius just us 2. Junk Beast and Vhaskiz both were 1 grouped. the droppables for the advanced manuals were either vendor farmed or bought in bazaar. i got 2 gems by OOCing in BoT and the 3rd on my first solo kill of a giant...total time to do quest, maybe 10 hours? and that quest isnt worth it eh?

Haste is a buff and you cant buff NPC's. Would have to charm him to buff him and Im 100% sure hes not charmable.
You never know, Bertoxxulous was mezzable until recent patch ;)

nice stuff, darn guildmates i have a levl 29 rogue and a 65 storm warder (druid) on druzzil ro so i know what i like =)
My guild took this guy out yesterday. I was so happy and surprised that IFIR Dropped. I went crazy me being a rouge and everything but dam it, a guild mate that was a rogue with 1 more raid attendance point got it. dam.

Fennin Ro was killed for the first time on the 4th January. He dropped a Tunic wearable by Druids, Monks and Beastlords. Not great stats at all considering the mob. He also dropped an earing which was all/all but I forgot to get a screenshot in all the excitment of him going down.
Where the sword he drops comes from I have no idea as we were the first to kill him anywhere.

Let's go ahead and mention that it was the Township Rebellion guild that got the 1st kill...and the second by the way. He has been killed a second time by TR at the time of this post.

Now's when you ask yourself how the hell are they gonna kill sleeper alone, much less sleeper and another god, well Bertoxulous and Kerafym are suppose to team up to try and destroy norrath, if the information was correct. So to aid you in the fight against Bertoxulous and Kerafym is the great o mighty Veeshan. THIS is how the sleeper will be defeated i believe. Who knows where it could go from there. Feel free to flame this information if you would like, when it turns out to be true i hope you kick yourself in the ***.

Posted: Jan 24 2003 at 8:53 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) the only time kera was brougt below like 97% besides when he was first spawned and broken(nother unfinished script in a released expansion) was when ppl were using exploits, so its not really a record to beat, and kera was still 100x harder than fennin, all you noobs talking about kera are just dumb, he is unkillable PERIOD, you could take 100 of the most skilled people, somehow make them all completely lag free, give them 25 dmg 15 dly weapons, give them all 5 thousand mana and 10 thousand HP, and they would still get kera down to 85% at best if they tried him like 10 times
uh, how come i come to read about various mobs / lore / zones... i somehow ALWAYS see some stupid **** about the sleeper blah blah blah. howabout everyone takes crap about the sleeper, to the "sleepers tomb / kerafrym's lair" zone discussion eh? thnx

Well still no one has killed him, but i play on veeshan home to Fires of heaven. Was jsut cruising around getting some exp talking to one of my good buddies in the guild. They were trying Fen RO they beat they're old record of getting him down to 98% and got him to 84%. So i figure it will be a while before he goes down but i remmeber how much time they spent in Ssratemple and eventually they killed emperor. So eventually they'll get fennin ro. My friend said he hits for 3k and has a really nasty AE. When he swings through one guy the guy behind him goes down also :p.
