These are found in the factory 10 in total 2 at each side going to the prototypes and 4 in the central room. They range from 58-61. easily slowed, hit for max of approx 500. When /disc def is up hit for max of 300. They are not bad really when slowed with good cleric. A decent amount of hp. Can be mezzed and pacified. Killed for 7 hours and got nothing to drop except Gear Assembly, Sprockets and wires, and that powder stuff. So dont count on many drops.

Did factory again today and got a polished tin mail shirt. I would say all the drops that you can use are very rare. The shirt so far for me has been 1/60.

As for the post below the key is when u enter go to the top left corner, and have everyone stand there. Have the monk run into the room with the golems, and run half way down the hall way (connecting room between golems and the room with the gnome) and FD. One should walk away before the other. When this happens shoot an arrow at the one that is still standing there and put ur back to the top left corner and have the other melees push it at you. When the golem is back to the camp spot, the monk can get up and help. If they both walk away at the same time repeat the process. Another good idea, is if the cleric is lom you can pull the tin soldiers from the East i think it is...the right when u walk in and you should be able to kill them both with 1 CH on def disc or both with 1 CH each with your disc down.

For your group, you do not need a chanter because you should never have any adds. You should have two people able to tank a tin soldier by themselves. I always go with warrior/SK or warrior/pally. Shaman or enchanter to slow is necessary, either will be fine, but chanter shouldnt need to mez anything...you should have a monk to pull, any FD class will do, but it is not a good idea. If no FD is available you can harmony them all and pull one like that. Bring a good cleric because you dont want to have a lot of med breaks and sitting during the fight can be suicidal. Also bring a dps class, but have them hold back a little because over casting will get you agro and kill you very very quickly. They do have a lot of hp but are easily managed. Some do summon, and you get an occasional one that will rage on you, that is rare though.

Hope this helps with ur trips to the factory
P.S. the exp is uber!

I am 59 and conned these, some blue some even and some yellow so they can be 58-60 at least. Its common to get adds through the door from outside too, so dont fight too close to it.

These can be found in the factory which needs a key to unlock the front door. Rogues cannot lock pick this door. There are two mobs that guard the front door which cannot be mezzed.

These Golems drop Ethreal Parchment, Tarnished Driveshaft (2hb 23/30 8ac, +10 wis/int, +65 hp/mana, +15 sv poison - priest/caster), Polished Tin Mail Shirt (chest 28ac, +8 dex, +7 sta, +10 wis, +25 hp/mana ranger, rogue, shaman) and vendor loot.

These mobs are extremely close together, they require some sort of harmony or a very experienced fd puller. Once pulled there isn't much room to fight so watch your melee push. If your not careful you can aggro those unmezzable mobs that guard the front door when they respawn.

Lastly, the door can only be open from the outside. Once on the inside succor or gate is your only way out besides dying or having somone else open the door from the outside.

Can be opened from both sides if you are flagged. You Don't need flag to get in if someone open the door for you.

Getting flagged is to kill xanamech and keep the gnome alive which is a raid thing. Can be done with 2 groups if right classes and levels.

Door to get in is to the left path in poi when you zone in. The first slope uphill. 2 tin men. Then a door, a gnome and u are in.

I'd love to see the 12 players that can drop Xanamech!

Full elemental gear and Ssra++ weapons??

Two groups for Xanamech? Well, they'd have to be two pretty dang uber groups then. It isn't a tough raid, but you have to clear your way to the dragon which involves killing half the mobs in the zone, and then the dragon itself has a couple tough AEs. I dont know, maybe the dragon can be done with two groups, but those would be two pretty damn impressive groups.

That dragon is a bastage mob due to the fact you have to position it correctly or the gnome so he doesnt get ripstoed to death, alsy xana has a snare ae, stun ae, and a 800hp hard to resist nuke. I only resitsed it once with 200+ to fr cr and mr not including bard song. also its a pain to clear all that way, sometimes the little gnome is to slow and some time to fast.

The door can be openend from both sides. You do not need a key, you need to kill the dragon in PoI and hail the gnome afterwords for the character flag.
