After doing Willamina's dialogs, I couldn't get this guy to give me anything either...but then, being super tired, I said to him the following(in 2 sentences, the second sentence got the response.

You say, 'Willamina sent me to check on you.'

(He stood there and did nothing, so I added threats of physical abuse.)

You say, 'She wants her sewing needles and says for me to kill you if you don't give them to her.'

This got a response to go and see Mirao Frostpouch for an elixir to make him feel better. At this point I decided to go through with the rest of the quest foolishly not knowing how long it would take, so I will post the entire thing here for you to enjoy. And oh, to make it easier, turn off the "Show Only Destinations I Can Use" on the Find Path window).

--(Mirao Frostpouch appears on the Find Path under Poison Supplies and is in a building on the neutral side.)--

Hail, Mirao Frostpouch. (he rambles about something unrelated).

You say, 'Bolcen Tendrag is sick. Can you give me an elixir for him?'

Mirao tells you to go see Cador for "black lava powder" so he can brew up the elixir.

--(Oracle Cador can be found in a building on the light side and appears on the Find Path under Shaman Guildmaster)--

Hail, Oracle Cador. (again, rambling)

You say, 'Can you give me some black lava powder?'

He replies and wants an item from Onirelin Gali. Go get it.

--(Onirelin Gali can be found by initiating a Find Path to Tralina Dukar. Onirelin will be standing next to her in a building in the dark side. Use the force.)--

Being a Dark Elf myself, I decided to be frank with this NPC.

You say, 'I have come for the artifact. Give it to me.'

It got a response. He wants you to, guess what? Go get an item from someone else, a jewel. This quest reward better be worth all this running around. He wants a jewel from Narik.

Hail, Arch Mage Narik.

You say, 'Do you have Onirelin Gali's fine jewel?'

This gets a response and you will never guess what he wants you to do next. Okay, you probably will. Go get an Engagement Ring from his ex-fiancee that ran off with the Dark Elf above which caused him to take the jewel in the first place. So let's go find the Elisha Dirtyshoes.

--(Elisha Dirtyshoes can be found near the Main Bank in the tradeskill area to the West of the bank. She appears on the Find Path under Pottery Supplies.)--

You say, 'I have come for Narik's engagement ring, you two-bit *****.'(the insult is optional)

She replies and sends you on yet another quest to ask a Dwarf if he likes her. This girl is a Wood Elf, who hooks up with a Human, leaves him for a Dark Elf, and is now after a Dwarf. She gets around. Go find Boiron Ston.

--(Boiron Ston can be found in the open area just South of the Main Bank. He appears on Find Path under Smithing Supplies.)--

Hail, Boiron Ston. (rambling, as usual)

You say, 'Do you like Elisha Dirtyshoes?'

Yes, he does! Romance is in the air! But he needs his Family Standard back before he will approach her. Someone else has it, a Caden Zharik. Let's go.

You say, 'I have come for Boiron's family standard.'

Seems the Gnome owes someone money and you need to figure out how to repay the debt to continue. Go find Agrakath Theric.

--(Agrakath Theric can be found by turning around and going toward the evil side. As soon as you cross from the middle to the evil side, turn right and he will be ahead of you in the corner (NorthWest corner of the evil just, just North of the portal to the Gulf of Gunthak.) He does not appear on the Find Path.)--

You say, 'I have come to erase Caden Zharik's debt.' He sends you after a book. This appears to be the last 'go to' spot, then you get to run them all in reverse. The book he wants is a ground spawn called "History of Evils: The Age of Scale" and he says it is in the Library.

This book is located in the library near Sir Geravaldi. Do a Find Path to Paladin Spells -- Cavalier Cerakor from Agrakath's location. You will pass Geravaldi moments before reaching your destination. The book is on the bookshelf that he is facing (East by default) on the bottom shelf. Looks like...a book, and appears in the gap between the leaning book and the rest of the books on that shelf. It has a half hour spawn time from what I read on Illia's about Agrakath. Pick up the book and take it to Agrakath.

Give book to Agrakath, he gives you a note.
Give note to Caden, he gives you the Boiron's Standard.
Give Standard to Boiron, he gives you Letter to Elisha.
Give Letter to Elisha, she gives you Narik's Ring.
Give Ring to Narik, he gives you Onirelin's Jewel.
Give Jewel to Onirelin, he gives you Cador's Artifact.
Give Artifact to Cador, he gives you Black Lava Powder.
Give Powder to Mirao, he gives you Curative Potion.
Give Potion to Bolcen, he gives you New Sewing Needles. Okay if he had them in his damn pocket, why did we have to go through all this to get them? Time to see what the reward is...

Give the Needles to Willamina, and receive...!

One hour later and I get this handy guide (which already exists on Alla's, quest title "Willamina's Needles" but I didn't even look at it during the quest which probably would have saved time by telling me that the reward was absolutely craptacular. Also, each turn-in gives experience, but at Level 70 one 100% it didn't even move me 1%.

In other words, the quest is only worth it to read the storyline involved with it, which in itself is pretty neat. Do it if you're bored, but don't expect to get anything good for it.
