I came to try out Swamp Rats for baking, but I don't think it will be worth the effort. Mobs are easy enough, but it looks like only about 4 spawn in the swamp area. Also, they for the most part are going to come with adds of larvae or the flies, since the islands in the swamp are bunched together. I will say, however, after killing four Rats I have two Parts, so the drop rate isn't horrible on them. Been here 30+ minutes and only two Parts, as I said above, doesn't seem much worth it.
I need to find swamp rats and havent seen any. Anyone know where they are? All i have found so far are pestilient (sp?) rats and feeble and diseased.

this is incorrect - some are fearable, they range from 52 (fearable) to 55 (not fearable) ..in my experience, 80% are unfearable.. i cast fear on every rat for the hate it gives, as i generally aggro kite them.. now and again it sticks

I'm 53, got several that are blue, and one or two White, and I'm fairly sure I saw one yellow. So, I'm guessing 47-55 might fit them all in.

these guys r real good exp for killing, but if u plan to kite em around while ur doting/re-charming pet, just a little info these suckers cant be snared and run real fast, but however being a 55 ranger they r able to,and relatively easy to root
Some conned even and some conned yellow to the level 54 friend I was duoing with. Fear would stick on some, wouldn't stick on others so I'm pretty sure the level range is accurate.

These are definitely higher than level 53. At level 53, every one I encountered conned yellow. Haven't been back since I dinged 54 last night

Dispite the level posted, I've heard these are not fear kiteable by rangers which could mean that they are 55.
