Which is why Reed's modifiers were better terminology than percentages. You would think 110% = 1.1 modifier, hence one times any number is itself, we get an additional 10% to what we already had. But we have to add the original 100 percent that is mysterious/omitted/ assumed using percentages. So in actuality 110% is a 2.1 modifier.
With 110% modifier it sure would be mystical. I sort of suspect this kind of post, with no data on where or by what this would be dropped (No offense to Fleven). If it turns out to be true no doubt it will be VERY expensive, but well worth it.
This is just an item obtained during the Bard Epic, it's also the turn-in item for getting the epic complete. No doubt I will do this part of the epic twice, gaining 110% to stringed instruments is amazing.. that near tripples your healing songs power! Epic item located here: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=348
No offense taken. The 110% modifier listed here is the same as multiplying the base number times 2.1, the "instrument modifier" commonly seen elsewhere.
If and when information becomes available on where one obtains this item, I'll be happy to add it to the listing.
Well, thanks for not taking offense, since YOU all knew what you were talking about and I did NOT! The technical term is "oops!" The colloquial term is "Hey, dummy! Don't post stupid stuff when you don't know what you're talking about!"
It is part of the bard Epic. You give Mystical Lute Head, Body of the Lute and Trakanon guts to Forpar and you receive the Mystical Lute. It is never used as an instrument even if you can because when you have it you usually finish your epic in the next hour ;)
well... a normal store bought lute is +100%? the lute of howler +120%... and one handed to boot, with a useful click? the top end PoWater ones are +230%
