Yeah Rage is a generous dragon. Guild just did him a few hours ago for cleric epic. This was my second time doin him. First time i won BP... i just use for the clicky blind, very nice. Today he dropped the greaves, arms, and helm.. plus epic piece for cleric and another item (was junk). I replace my old arms... lost a whopping 3 ac on it but its worth the stats and clicky. Being an SK its finally nice to have the ability to buff our gimp pet(yet good dot) with a DS for the few things he can tank while farming :-D. Funny thing was that there were 4 sks that went and 3 of us won a piece each. We were all 56 too.... I got the arms (im happy), one got the legs and of course other got helm. Wish i could solo rage's happy *** for my bard... some kick *** stats for bards. all the charisma, dex, agi etc. But hes a fun dragon... didnt even lose any health this time due to my nice resists =D

Did rage a couple of days ago. He dropped the following:
Blazing vambraces (x2)
Blazing BP (x1)
Cleric epic piece
crystallized dust (yellow stuff) -- junk

2 vambraces...woot :-)

He dropped these arms (which I won; this being my first dragon raid); the BP, and the bracer, plus some purple necklace thingy.

I just got these the other day.The ds is insta clicky and can be cast on others.So you can buff your whole group in seconds with this.Its not a great ds,but if no one in your group can cast one then this will definitely help.
I dropped 5 ac to wear these arms and have not regretted it one bit. :)

What level do you have to be for the effect to work?
To save you a click I looked up Shield Of Flame:
Damage Shield from 8 (L20) to 9 (L24)
Increase Fire Resist by 15 (L20)
This item is listed to be triggered and unlimited. Anyone doing any kind of melee would love the ability to activate this effect at their every whim. This is one of the items I will dream about on my "someday" list.

Good luck hon. In my four kills of ragefire, we have yet to see this, and i believe we have only seen one piece of blazing fennin ro (bracer). Still, it is indeed a very nice item.

July 27th Ragefire kill dropped 3 Blazing Pieces...BP, Arms and Bracer
but are these alt loots to the cleric epic item or the cleric epic item itself? I never actually was needed on a zord raid so I havent been there and dont know a thing about it hehe. if anyone knows could ya fill me in ) kthx
Ragefire works just like Nagafen's loot tables, with the exception that 1) He always drops the cleric epic item, and 2) He always drops at least 1 (or 2, I've seen 2 bracers drop before) piece of blazing armor and 1 (or more) piece of Nagafen loot.
Guild killed him on 9/8/02. he dropped the satchel, the greaves, and the boots; as well as the epic piece. I rolled, but lost. That's my account of the matter.
Not always. Last time we took him down he dropped the cleric epic piece, and a treasure hunter's satchel. No blazing armour =/

Just killed him today Feb 24th 2004. He dropped epic piece, 2 Fennin Ro Breastplates and 1 Vambrace. Me, 56 bard, got the vambraces, very happy with them. But no naggy loot items dropped unfortunately.

they work for a lvl 51 that has them in my guild (Krieger) on tunare server, and since it drops off an epic mob... maybe uhh, bout 46 like most other items. the effect is instant, so just point and click, and you have a 9(?) point damage shield.

Shield of Flame is a level 20 Mage spell. It does 9 damage and inceases your SvFire by 15.
Perfect resist gear for Dragon raids. Bard or no. The DS adds 15 to your fire resist + the +20 to resist fire already on them = +35 fire resist mana free. Hrrrmmmm, if you are lucky enough and say get a few cleric's working on thier epic together and make a day of it (seeing as how it is a triggered spawn) you could concievebly get a full suit to drop in a day with plenty of down time for mana breaks ress's. Course it would take a Raid that don't fall apart halfway through or as soon as whomever got what they wanted bails.
Total raw stats for full suit:
AC: 103
AGI +31
DEX +44
CHA +38
STR + 5
WIS + 5
INT + 5
STA +10
Fire resist +89 (104 if ya figure in the DS offa da Vambraces)
Total Weight: (For you folk silly enough to make a non-dwarf) 31.8
All around a rather nice, if disapointingly hard to get suit of armor. And yes I think that all who can use should allways get to roll for an Item, unless it has been merited or they have gotten another good drop on a raid.

Zordak Ragefire spawns approximately 62 hours after Naggy bites it. This a long camp so getting a full suit could take months of continuous camping. The first spawn is Zordak and after you kill him the dragon, Zordakalicus, spawns. Three groups of 55ish will do fine.

Wish they werent no drop though. Going to be a while before i can even think of getting them.
