Shawl of the Wind Spirit  

 

Got several of this item on The Sleeper (Progression) Server. I went through the bit with Behroe once, then went and talked to his girlfriend, singing her the song in /say. She gave me the Lore love letter. I used Selos and ran back to Behroe, gave him the letter. Got the shawl and several factions went up. I used Selos, ran back to the girlfriend, used Shift+Up to sing her the song again. Got another love letter. Ran it to Behroe, kept repeating. Not very good experience at level 12. Did the quest about 5 times, didn't get a single % of experience. The whole joy behind it was that I raised my bard faction to kindly. I wore one of the shawls and stood in the bard guild handing the rest out to newbies who spawned in. :) It's good that items like this have value again.

Okay I have one question. What is wrong with folks not twinking? Nothing. What is wrong with twinking? nothing. My philosophy is this.... if you have higher toons an wish to twink do it....if your a new gamer level 1 and want to work for what you get then do it. I say more power to you in the game if you do the quests, earn your money... earn what you have.... You will eventually know more about the in and outs of Questing and gaming if you do so. I started a level 1 warrior about a year ago and she is only level 25...Im not into Powerleveling really Not into quick leveling at all. Im here for the game ...finding out what quest does what low level or high it doesnt matter to me.... But I can understand where the lower toons come up with hey this is good for a low level toon...... where as it might not be good for a higher toon. I started a new toon on a different server and didnt have anything...and yes its damn hard to come by money and all the like but upon doing the newbie quests armour and the like I soon got what I needed to survive for my level.
I guess what Im saying is this.... if you have the higher toons to twink and feel like it do IT! if you are a low level toon and dont have nothing.... and wish to earn what you get...More power to you.... and good luck

Calane Steadfast (the Rathe)

The item isnt that great. but it is an easy quest, a learning experience, you know... you also have to think not EVERY level 1-5 is just another character for someone with a 20+.... some people REALLY are new. This is great, introduces them to questing, items, and all of that. Its called a "gaming experience" .... I have to agree, anyone that flames this obviously has not had to work hard for what they have. Also just like the -time VS. reward- aspect. This is pretty decent. But only someone that worked from zero up would know that. I also happen to think what Bobthehamster said was very smart. Too bad others post ANON and flame. Perhapse it was a bad twink day.

You don't like the gains from this quest, then quit playing the game. This is a level 1 quest items and it's super easy to get. And between levels 1 - 5 or even till 10.

Try this, create a level 1 character, non warrior don't twink or give it anything from another character or player. Yes that's right you need to start fresh and you can't accept gifts or "find" things on the ground, and absolutely no twinking. Then with this freash character that can only get it's items and money from kills and quests and take this character to level 20. No you can't accept money either. Try it and you'll be greatful for anything you can get.
