Got several of this item on The Sleeper (Progression) Server. I went through the bit with Behroe once, then went and talked to his girlfriend, singing her the song in /say. She gave me the Lore love letter. I used Selos and ran back to Behroe, gave him the letter. Got the shawl and several factions went up. I used Selos, ran back to the girlfriend, used Shift+Up to sing her the song again. Got another love letter. Ran it to Behroe, kept repeating. Not very good experience at level 12. Did the quest about 5 times, didn't get a single % of experience. The whole joy behind it was that I raised my bard faction to kindly. I wore one of the shawls and stood in the bard guild handing the rest out to newbies who spawned in. :) It's good that items like this have value again.
Yes.

I have just achieved my twentieth quest and have only been given an orc fang earring by a guildmember because i completed a lore item quest for her. How can any one get any enjoyment from a game if they CHEAT? That is what twinking is--cheating yourself and others of enjoyment of the game.

twinking is not cheating. when I twink a character, I earned the gear I put on them. you were given an orc fang by a guildie? you could never kill an orc in EW at 20.. TWINK! FILTHY CHEATING SCUM!

twinking versus non twinking

*shaking my head as I read most of the posts posted here*

Okay I have one question. What is wrong with folks not twinking? Nothing. What is wrong with twinking? nothing. My philosophy is this.... if you have higher toons an wish to twink do it....if your a new gamer level 1 and want to work for what you get then do it. I say more power to you in the game if you do the quests, earn your money... earn what you have.... You will eventually know more about the in and outs of Questing and gaming if you do so. I started a level 1 warrior about a year ago and she is only level 25...Im not into Powerleveling really Not into quick leveling at all. Im here for the game ...finding out what quest does what low level or high it doesnt matter to me.... But I can understand where the lower toons come up with hey this is good for a low level toon...... where as it might not be good for a higher toon. I started a new toon on a different server and didnt have anything...and yes its damn hard to come by money and all the like but upon doing the newbie quests armour and the like I soon got what I needed to survive for my level.
I guess what Im saying is this.... if you have the higher toons to twink and feel like it do IT! if you are a low level toon and dont have nothing.... and wish to earn what you get...More power to you.... and good luck

I am proud to say, that I have at least 2 non-twinked charactors on each server I attend. My lvl 10 bard on Seventh Hammer started with his sword and now has his full set of newbie armor, and his Tranquilsong longsword (named for the armor of course). He has enough money in the bank to buy his song and has not once stood at a lift yelling SOMEBODY HELP ME GET ON MY FEET as i have seen so often. Newbie quests are fun...and allow you to make your own way in the world. My warrior on Saryn is the same way. Non-twinked to lvl 30 and has BOUGHT everything that is not quested that he owns. So, let us have something fun for the newbies to do. You super-twinks go get your next item for your next monster 1st lvl and we will plug our way up from the bottom.

Good Hunting and Stay safe
Saryn server is my home, but I travel the worlds of Norrath, I am Sliebhienn. Druid of 35 circles.

The item isnt that great. but it is an easy quest, a learning experience, you know... you also have to think not EVERY level 1-5 is just another character for someone with a 20+.... some people REALLY are new. This is great, introduces them to questing, items, and all of that. Its called a "gaming experience" .... I have to agree, anyone that flames this obviously has not had to work hard for what they have. Also just like the -time VS. reward- aspect. This is pretty decent. But only someone that worked from zero up would know that. I also happen to think what Bobthehamster said was very smart. Too bad others post ANON and flame. Perhapse it was a bad twink day.

#Anonymous, Posted: May 23 2001 at 9:32 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) But, in order to buy a 100pp item from a vendor that's worth 10kp to a person, you have to have that 100pp first. duh
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 26 2001 at 8:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) i have done this with 2 chars a bard who is 22 on veeshan and a 26 dru on cazic thule it is easy and my bard has almost full lambent and dualwields an icetooth claw and crystal fiber my druid is very good bcp, pair of plat jasper rings, runed falc, CGS, Kolab hide boots, kunzar cloak, testament o' vanear, 2 chip bone braclets, braided ivy cords, split paw hide arms, plat arm band, gatorscale legs, reed belt( yes the 5kpp belt),gold jasper earrins, chryoblysm talisman, plat ruby veil, savants cap. Now i wasn't twinked, didnt find anything on ground, or except gifts, i got all this by simple by what i call vpp. stands for vendor player profit. go check vendors for anything see if they have like a 10kkpp item for 100pp get it sell it and u have cash. i have currently 4.5kpp in bank at 26 by, doint this method. try it on any char... it is very profitable. also get a nice guild to do some raids with... very fun. so idiot in first slot u c i started from nothing and have lvl 35 stuff on a 26 dru. you should be the one who quits ******** and moaning.

You don't like the gains from this quest, then quit playing the game. This is a level 1 quest items and it's super easy to get. And between levels 1 - 5 or even till 10.

Try this, create a level 1 character, non warrior don't twink or give it anything from another character or player. Yes that's right you need to start fresh and you can't accept gifts or "find" things on the ground, and absolutely no twinking. Then with this freash character that can only get it's items and money from kills and quests and take this character to level 20. No you can't accept money either. Try it and you'll be greatful for anything you can get.

Think before you post and make the world a better place.

With that many typographical errors I wouldn't be throwing the word stupid around.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 10 2002 at 6:04 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Hmmm.. 1 typographical error and a lvl 1 quest... Buzz off and make yourself known..
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 11 2001 at 9:36 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) By 20th level, this would have to be slightly useless.
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 21 2001 at 9:59 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Bah, barely worth it at level 1...

Well let me ask you this then, without another players help at lvl 1 through 5, how much money do you think you can get by then. Maybe if your lucky 1 to 2pp. Im sorry but doing quest for new characters is very good no matter what the prize. For one usually enough xp to level or darn close to it. Second possible faction building very important at the beginning if you hope to do epics later on. Third without enough money to buy jack, with this quest you get a little more ac. Now I ask you what is wrong with that. Most of the people that complain about these things usually spend time on the net looking for possible cheats to every game. I'm not saying accepting gifts from players is wrong I accept them all the time, but I still work hard for the things that I want and need for later levels. Even if they seem trivial at the time. For me faction is quite possible the most important part of quests. Most dont even think about it..if you dont you will regret it later.. so take advantage of getting xp and faction at the same time.. instead of waiting til your lvl 50+ when the xp is no longer there.
