This is absolutely ridiculous, to introduce such an insane bottleneck for progression. We killed glarelords (of all kinds) for HOURS, and didn't see one single drop. What a joke. Same with the drop from the Boogeymen. The drop from the Nightmare (horses) dropped fairly often.
I definitely have to agree with the premise that this drop should be a lot rarer than it is listed. I say given the low vicinity of glarelords compared to other mobs, the difficulty to reach the mobs, and the fact it takes much longer to get the drops than the other by more than twice the time: the rarity on this drop should be, at least, listed as Rare.

I've killed 38 mobs with glarelord in the name and haven't got this drop. Is it really this rare? I got over 30 of the other eye loot, the one you can vendor (arcane sliver?).
Edit: got today on the 58th kill, from an Enraged Glarelord...just stupid rare I guess.

i finally found a spot to camp this temple. Just up the hill from the hourglass next to it

Confirmed dropped from a regular Glarelord.
After hours trying to get this, I found out that apparently, the correct mob, an enraged glarelord, spawns at the pryamid SE of the ring of fire. Near Lorenai.
This is def a rare drop. spawn rate for mobs is low and we were in fear for a couple of hours and went through 13 of these in that time and no tear duct.
