Since the war in Dreadlands and Firiona Vie, where can we purchase this spell now that Firiona Vie is in ruins and under the control of evil dark elves? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Druids get this spell BEFORE MAGES!

Mages are the specialists summoners of the game. That is messed up!

We should be able to destroy a summoned creature before anyone else in the game.

LDON Ranger Advisory

If/when you hit 61 or if you neglected it as most do, thinking when the heck do I kill summoned mobs, think again. Nearly all the mobs in North Ro LDON are summoned, The bloodguard <shadow> creatures in Butcherblock Mtns LDON are summoned, and possibly more in the other dungeons. When a ranger has KEI he now becomes an even bigger asset with this spell other than melee and his 5-7 dots (depending if you have the Earthcaller and Flaming Swarm _-LDON Spell BB-_).

This spell is especially nice with other rangers, clerics, and mages in the grp when they all can expulse or exile etc summoned. Quite a deadly grp.

My example came when I thought for sure I dug my grave even considering this rediculous group in BB. Beastlord, Mage, Ranger, Ranger, Ranger, Enchanter. The highest heal in the grp was me, 300 hpts...and I'll give you one guess who the tank was, ME!

(_SIDENOTE_) RANGERS ARE NOT TANKS, NEVER WERE, NEVER WILL BE.(_ENDNOTE_)

One of the best grps to date, soo much DPS it wasn't funny, but....dont choose assassinate if you're the tank. 8)

Not on subject but Rangers make adequate tanks up to lvl 45 from my experience. I've even been the main healer in a grupe up to level 30ish in hhk. Most recently I tanked Nurga w/ only a shaman healer. It's not the ideal scenario but it can be done.. if youre good.

In truth, the current claim that Rangers cannot tank is totally situational. I have a 58th level ranger and I can tank in lots of situations. Lately I've been camping Velk's Lab with a 53 warrior, and the level difference more than makes up for the fact that he is a tank class and I am not. I take fewer hits than he does and they do less damage.

If the mob is slowed ad I am hasted, LDoN is pretty easy to tank as a well buffed ranger, assuming I am above or at the group average. I have been tank on 6 adventurers, and we've won 5. The sixth was a crazy buggy nightmare that involved much death due to targeting issues and multiple adds and I prefer not to discuss it.

However, when I cross into the plane of tranquility, tanking just stops being an option, other than maybe the entrance to PoJ. If I fight in PoI, the robots hit hard, fast and I want to jolt the agro onto the real tank as soon as possible.

So sometimes rangers CAN tank and sometimes we clearly CANNOT and the problem is helping those who can't distinguish the different situations see their way to enlightenment.
