The sisters are level 22 or so, but you can also usually purchase one of these on the Sister Island for a couple of platinum pieces from the dwarf smith, since players sell them there often. It is worth the trip there at low levels to get the belt.

These belts are not useable by Beastlords! I killed a sister for one and ended up giving it away when it didn't fit around my furry waist. Wasted a boat trip too....yech
Very easy to get

I picked up six of these while waiting for the boat today. A couple of high level Dark Elves were camping the sisters and just dropping the belts on the ground.

I identified one of these awhile back, & it says something like "Erollisi Chastity Belt." I just find it interesting that there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of people running around in EQ, wearing chastity belts. =)

I was lvl8 DE chanter on SZ and me and another lvl11 DE rogue took these things like there is no tomorrow. They are easy and he lost about one bub of life/SoE. Nothing to them and if you are evil on SZ these is good money with decent exp as you will prolly never be going to GFay in upper lvls anyways to neut/good controled.

They seem to be in unlimited supply at Freeport Port Authority. I bought 8 for about 1.5 plat each for a crop of newbie pallies and rangers in our guild. Really nice for a level 3.

Suffering the faction hit is not worth the trouble. The belts are all over the place and can be purchased very reasonably as shown above.

Dunno exactly what happened here, but I was hackin' on orcs at camp 2 in EC when I looted one off of an orc oracle I think. Never heard of this on any server, much less mine (Vazaelle). I camped this camp from LVL 7 to about 12 and this is the only time it ever happened. If anyone can confirm this, it'd be appreciated

Ever heard of a high level giving items to mobs just to mess with the lower level players. This is the sort of joke i play every now and then just for an amusing break in the game. Just a possibilty : )

You can definitely give stuff to mobs without charming, (provided they're green, and not KOS. I haven't tried it on a blue or red mob). I used to give all my extra copper to the green kobolds and gnolls who would look at me with a bemused expression. I'm sure some high levels do it, there was a decaying skellie in Paineel newbie area running around with a Vah Shir guard's sword (the cool looking ones); which was pretty funny to see because the sword looks so cool. I should have taken a screenshot...

It's a nice thing to give something cool to a low level mob spawn so that the next time it's killed the newbie gets a nice surprise, rather than to just play tricks on them. You'll make a newbie extremely happy with an item which is incredibly crappy for your level but cool to them. But if there are newbies in the area you can try something crazy and give it to them instead. =)

Anyway Purity Belts are cool, and are not very rare. The places I always find them is the tavern by the bank in North Freeport-- "Tassle's Tavern" for a couple of PP. I don't know why but someone has a thing for selling PB in that tavern! Freeport will usually have them because all the people stop over there from the Boat. I've seen them lots of times. It's a nice belt for a range of levels. I still have mine, but'll probably drop it on a mob to freak out a newbie when I replace it. =)

Oh well, you obviously can't give mobs things that are not part of their quest anymore, since a recent patch.

I'm glad, (no more lost items!) But, it was really funny giving things to the gnolls in BB, though... "a gnoll looks at you with a bemused expression." Hee hee...

Then again, a red mob returning an item with a very polite; "I have no need for this item, Rhiante, you can have it back." Is kinda funny in and of itself. =)

I dunno if you can hand mobs stuff anymore (without Charming them first). But I used to get profoundly baked and wander around Gfay killing Wasps and planting their wings on bats to confuse n00bs... or handing them 2000cp :)

Give beer to a large rat or bat in newbie area to really freak them out. Or put a ruined cat pelt on a decaying skeleton to get them confused out of they're minds.

It is much faster just to buy a Purity Belt from a trader/traveler. The trip to Sister Island can take an hour or more from Kelethin (there and back). Plus, who wants to go there and kill the sisters anyway, newbies can't! (unless the smth has one)

the sisters that are actually named sister of ellrollisi was yellow to lvl 12...truthfully, i would rather buy one from a merchant than suffer the horrible faction.

This can be bought in the SK/Necro guild area of freeport. Just so you all know. One of the vendors in the basement below the condemned building.

A few words of warning about the island. There is a wandering pirate of about level 10 but he hits MUCH harder than he cons, and backstabs even harder, and will aggro on anyone he comes across. He periodically wanders through the village and will attack you through the walls of the huts. Also to make matters worse not only will the npc women not help you against him they will actually attack you as well if you fight in front of them.

The island is quite small so the chances of him finding you while you are there if you are stationary is quite high. I highly recommend NOT binding there even at higher levels as he is very hard to kill if you have died and are now defenceless without weapons or spells memorized....I speak from experience 8(

I hope that helps some of you, Good fortunes to ye!
Good for Newbie

Do the trip and Buy one if you are a newbie.
First, you make sightseeing :)
Second, an extra point in STR and STA and AC is always good.
