Do you guys think a lvl 32 Ranger, who can do about 60 dmg avrage per hit with his 2hs sword can take him?
RE: Think i could take?

No - a 32 ranger can not handle a 22 giant - you should count yourself fortunate that you can escape from a fight with an orc pawn, much less something 10 levels lower than you.

@#$% ebay
Still drops

I found Timbur the Tiny on track in NK last night somewhere between the druid ring and the bridge to EK. Looked like a regular HG but dropped really easy to my 52 ranger. Dropped the belt and 7 silver. I have hunted a lot in NK with my ranger at various levels and had never seen Timbur before.
Got Him

My 45 druid was curious last week, had him on track, killed him for the heck of it. Got the belt...YEA, gave to my enchanter friend....missed out on 2kpp...oh well
Seen in EK

Tis true, I have seen him in Eastern Karana's near 1500, -1000. I was there last month killing the Dark Elf Corruptor for my epic and we saw him walking along. One of the groups killed him and reported MT. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you saw Tarbul Earthstrider, one of the mage epic mobs.

Not really. This item is for lowbies. 2AC and 5INT aren't that great for casters anymore. 600 sounds way high to me. I value things according to how useful they are, not how rare they are or what mob they drop off of. This would likely be only a 10PP item in bazaar today. If it were an earring or ring it would likely be worth more, but not as an armor piece.

10pp??? OMG. You must be very uber, or very crazy to sell something like this for 10p. I, as a wizard, dont get hit unless its a VERY bad situation. And so, AC, HPs, STA, AGI... well all of those dont matter much to me. 5 int is pretty nice up until your 40s or so. So...think about it. This is very similiar to a braided cinch cord which sells for about 200p on my server. So, I have to say while 600p is too much, 10p is ridiculous. so Shush! Smiley: smile

So where does Timbur spawn, North Karana or Western Karana?

I have been looking for him for several days in NK and never found him.

He is still around all. I was personally chased in Eastern Karanas by this infamous giant just a few days ago. I am a wizard lvl 35 and could nt get the job done alone but good luck to you all. :)

Timbur the Tiny is found in WK.
If you were in EK it was prob T. Earthstrider like the other guy said.

Are you sure you were chased by Timbur in Eastern Karanas and not T. Earthstrider?
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 29 2001 at 9:33 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) i have killed this guy about 100 times in my EQ career. he never drops anything at all

I got this off of him yesterday (02/15/2001). He was chasing a lvl 38 druid and for some reason peeled off to attack me while medding. I was very pleased because I had never seen him spawn before and figured I wouldnt again because someone already had him. I guess the other druid was out of mana when he ran across him because he let me have him without comment..lucky. He was not very difficult at 35...but I wouldnt underestimate any mobs lately..even at green.
