these spells make PLing mages a snap!
Take a chanter, pull everything you can find (use tash), put on some DS's (i use Feedback and Kilva's Skin of Flame, they stack. Plus i use some +ds items for 11 more damage.) run em back to the mage, chain stun, have the mage get near you and ae the things, then you sit down. They'll attack you, chew through your runes, but they'll be taking (in my case) 57 points of damage every time they hit. In lower levels, thats a lot of damage =)

I've PL'd my mage to level 41 using this method alone as a Druid -- snare works well for the purposes of Aggro as a Druid. While I don't have Rune, my Damage Shields are a lot better than an Enchanter's, and self-heals and regen means that I can cope with 6-7 level 40ish mobs beating on me at once to keep the PLing going till the PL'ee can start grouping with level 70s to leech XP (at level 46).
