Dude, punctuation.. Please think before posting this kind of retarded garble. I feel dumber for having read this. Did you title it 'Info' to trick us?

Highest I can hit with it with Self buffs is 113.

Yes, you can solo some Shrooms FG if you are bored, I actually do it frequently, but thats getting off topic.

I just double up Illusions (Werewolf and BoG) throw on Bedlam and whack away. Average hit probably in the 60's 70's or so. Need to try it with full attack buffs from others though. Nice toy.
Visible?
# Aug 09 2002 at 7:31 AM Rating: Decent
Is this weapon visible in the mob's hand if it's carrying it?
RE: Visible?
# Aug 14 2002 at 6:57 PM Rating: Decent
No it's not. If Spirit of Tawro has nothing in his hand then either it's the staff or he's got no weapons or staffs
Doomshade drops it too

I got mine from Doomshade in Umbral Plains last week. It really looks cool, and wearing it in Greater Faymart (SolRo trade zone) gives you a lot of tells =) Still, I am looking forward to Drakkel Wolf Claws, then meleeing isn't considered bad because you don't med, because you get more mana from meleeing (wandering mind proc) than from medding all the time ;-)
It's good vs greens...

I just got one about an hour before posting this, and it's awesome to be able to beat a green to death effortlessly without having to mez it, mem a nuke, stand, nuke it, it resist, tash it, nuke it again, THEN it dies.

I beat a highland lion to death with it, hit for 60 once as the highest shot I did. The staff I had before it was 32/32 (Primordial Summoning) but THIS one is much better for the stat mod's.

So it's worth getting in my opinion, just to be able to kill greens, whether for farming or just defending yourself against goofy stuff.
be prepared to get inspected a lot :)

In NFP (or whatever zone is the local sell-and-buy-zone on your server) you'll get inspected a lot and asked every two minutes what the stats are and what you had to do to get it and what drops it. Drops off Spirit of Tawro in Umbral Plains and requires prolly about 2 groups to kill to be on the safe side. Plus mobs here have absolutely huge hp's. Very cool staff though, it beats my old Pheno's Focus + Velketor's Spellbook combo in terms of cha, mana, int added together, and i only really switch to the book and stone combo when i need resists like on raids.
Cool look

I saw a chanter with one of these the other day. Looked pretty spiffy. Its long with a curved tail. At the head, its got something that looks like a music stand with a book on it. Kinda wierd having a staff that has a book stuck to it but guess thats where the damage comes from...I mean, how would you like being whapped with a dictionary?
How do you get this staff?
# Mar 27 2002 at 6:09 PM Rating: Decent
WOuld anyone please post about how to get this staff? Solo? Singel group? Raid stle to obtain? Who drops it? Location?

Any information would be great. Thank you.

wait a minute . .. does this mean that after 35 levels or so (if i was the level needed to get this) my chanter would be able to melee again? woohooo!

hahahahah

hehe actually most raids the enchanters are super bored. one of them does aoe c3. another haste cycle every 30 minutes...another grm..and thats about it. if they aren't mezzing stuff they are bored and full mana, enchanter nukes are super resisted so they may as well melee. and you should have heard how excited the enchanter who recieved this last night got when i told her that with good str and atk buffs she may actually break 100 damage=P its the little things that keep eq fun=P

More people need to use that as their mantra in the game, honestly. I meet too many whackos that don't even get the idea of what this game is about: Having fun in a fantasy world with dragons and elves and all of the things that we dream about.

Far too many people just act like jerks and want to get THE best of everything, no matter who they are mean to on the way. That is not how you want to play this game.

If you want to act like that, play Diablo II =)

It means that you will have a weapon statistically worthy of meleeing, but that your 2hB skill and Offense skill will still be capped so low that it still won't be worth your time to try and melee anything that would actually give you XP or whatnot. Also, most groups you join or raids you go on will want you to be mezzing adds or giving haste and clarity, not swinging a 2hB. But it is a nice ratio, and the stats you are getting holding it mitigates the fact that it will take two inventory slots. Nice ENC item, with the charisma. Here's an idea: Use your nice CHA to charm some unfortunate mob, and have it melee for you.

Chanters on raids do get bored when there is more than 1 of em. Many raids you go on, mobs can't be mezzed or charmed anyway. Plus it's nice to swing a big stick for a change...even if it don't land. :)

Lots of int shoulder items outside of planar. :) Like, wurm lord's shawl, the coldain shawls, the meditative blanket, elder wolf hide and others.

Ok, not a LOT, but a good selection to choose from.

But planar really too easy to get now, Pauldrons of Witness down to sometimes 1.8k in Bazaar on Cazic... Replace my fancy velvet mantle with it, only because i had the extended range on my bracer... Also, there are lots of PoW around; since so many are going through trials for flags to get to 2nd tier PoP zones.
Funny armour?
# Feb 19 2002 at 9:29 PM Rating: Good
Hmmm... Is there anymore parts to this armour set? Would the jester's cap and clown collar be part of it? How bout the Breastplate of Bad Puns or Robe of lame Jokes? Over all very nice.
