I must say as a ranger myself id jump on them better then my current arm slot(armplates of avoidance 12ac 3str 5magic resist) and better then hardened grey flesh sleeves, without having to pay a copper, but doubt i will ever see these rotting, this is definitely on my wish list

I have to say these things are a massive improvement for my 56 mage. 16 ac in sleeves for a caster is uber not to mention +8's across the board and resists. Too bad theres no raw hp or mana tho it would have made this an even more desirable item.

A MT-type might not care for these, but as a Ranger I'd jump at 'em. Nice stats, decent AC for a chain class and SVs are always needed.
More hit points....think I may of been brainwashed, I rarely if ever buy / loot any item for any character if it has no raw HP. Decent for classes that dont need so many HP, and need resists / other stats. +8 STA is ok though :)
I have a very nice Ogre War and the stats are pretty crappy on this item. If the sleeves your wearing currently do not have more AC (these also have no HPs)at the lvl required to take this guy down, make sure your not MT b/c you will not last long or you will mana bankrupt your healers.

This is a good set of sleeves for any class but it's best for fighter/caster hybrid classes. They use the most stats more of the time.
As Pallies Opionion... this is Purecaster Item. Maybe it wasn't back then but now, the AC is much too little to help a fighter, and although the stats are decent, they are also decent on a Purecaster.
To heck with the rest of you, This is the best arm slot item a chanter can get outside veeshan, ssraa, or the as yet unknown gear from PoP.

These are a nice arms for bards but only one thing about them I dont like. There silk so they have no Graphics :( Oh well Love the stats and AC on them.

other than the wis+8 everything on these arms would be great for a bard, but since they are all/all means that everyone will prolly roll since they are +8 to all stats. GL

Sure, it would be decent for a monk, but I would rather see these go to someone else first. The 1.6 wt. is a bit heavy for essentially the same arms at the Hardened Grey Flesh Sleeves.
Dont forget that agility adds ac so with the +8 agi on these the ac goes up to about 18-19ac witch is comparable to my tolans arms or any other kunark arms so all in all very nice sleeves

this item is found in Rumblecrush in Umbral Plains, 1-2 well balanced level 60 groups kill if slowed.
These are definitely nice arms for most classes. As a cleric there are very few nice arms. For starter planar gear we EM 15 ac 9 str 7 magic. Thurg and PoG arms ac little higher but stats not very good. Kael and SS are decent. I would choose these over any of the formentioned even for an ac/mana hit(i wear EM atm so is a gain all sides). Ok ac, nice stats and 15 MR are incredible IMO.
Nice item for almost an class. Little low on ac for heavy tanks though. 16ac is not very good arms for chain classes little lone plate.

16ac is not much compared to the stuff the tanks probably have at the level needed to take the guy that drops these things...
im really glad to see more and more caster items in SOL, pre-SOL loot was mainly melee oriented.
