I picked up one of these last night 1/2/02....
My guild raided Umbral Plains, and I went along with my 46 Druid....
About an hour in, one of these landed, and I was awarded this fine item.

I was looking for this or similar upgrade for my ranger, and found this last night in the Bazaar for only 150pp...I couldent believe it! I tripped twice and bounced off four walls running to the vendor.

I just won the roll on this nice item tonight on an umbral raid. Makes a nice change for my slime coated harpoon. Lost 10 mana..but 7ac makes up for it.
I just got this last night in UP...the simple fact that it can be a range item makes this invaluable to me. The stats on top of that are awesome..
A good friend of mine is leaving EQ because of RL problems.. told me "Hey.. come here.. I got something for ya." He gave me the charm.. I almost fell out of my seat when I read the stats... what an awesome gift for a 15th level cleric.. it will be with me for a VERY long time!!

How does this compare to a Goranga Idol? The Idol has more AC and HP, but no resists and not as great stats...

just got mine today very nice in range slot now am 55 pally gives nice stats
This should be worth more then 2500pp cause not only is it a neck item but also a ranged item with ac stats and resists..I would think more like 4kpp for this item, but thats just me..well good hunting and safe journey to all.

I have been seeing these on Terris Thule going from 2k-10k. Seems like a really wide range. I would think it would be 3, maybe 4k at most. Is there a pre-nerfed version or something?

New items always have wide price swings when they first start out getting sold. Once a steady supply of them has been rolling in over a few weeks people will agree on a price and slowly start working downwards from there.
Oh and as far as I know it hasn't been nerfed.
