I'm not sure but I think that most items CAN NOT be recharged. All of the stuff I've seen on recharging items say that the only stuff that CAN be recharged are the ones made by Gnomes with Tinkering. Those items use the same mana battery that was used to make them. FYI recharging an item is a NO FAIL NON-TRADESKILL, you combine the item and battery in a toolbox and combine. This can be done by ALL/ALL (anyone with a toolbox.)

you are correct... dropped items cannot be recharged with mana batteries in a toolbox... period...

I won't swear that there aren't any way to recharge certain items, though... however, if there is a way to recharge a dropped item I'm pretty sure it will involve a quest or other such special circumstances... =)

I have yet to hear of a way to recharge a dropped item... but then, I don't claim to know everything hehe...

I was told if it doesnt say expendable it can be recharged. the question is can a non-gnome tinker it lol.

He spawns on the edge of the pit with a group of thought leeches or various kinds.... It the ledge area to the right of the pit opening where the bridges are.

#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 16 2002 at 10:09 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Hmmm you people don't even know the game you're playing,... it's a ROLEPLAYING game. Who's the dork here?
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 15 2002 at 5:14 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) roleplaying is for nerds anyways
nice without the charges
# Feb 15 2002 at 4:40 PM Rating: Decent
even when the charges are gone, this is still a fine earring. would make a nice upgrade to cougar claw earrings
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 15 2002 at 3:36 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) because some rangers and paladins dont roleplay because they aren't dorks.
Hmmm... Just Curious
# Feb 15 2002 at 1:56 AM Rating: Default
Why would a ranger and paladin (for role play sake) ever want to use an item that drains life? (thats an evil act) However, NICE LITTLE JEWEL!
RE: Hmmm... Just Curious
# Feb 15 2002 at 1:48 PM Rating: Decent
Well, a paladin could use it on undead mobs, and a ranger could just not use it on animals...wouldn't that work?
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 03 2002 at 5:12 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) OK, so by that logic, Rangers and Pallys should never wield any weapons, nor cast any damage spells, right?

Geez, the guy just asked a simple roleplay question, and some of you act like roleplaying is for dumbasses and dorks, heh what are you doing on a game like this?
I roleplay that I dont like corrupt guards, certainly not the best way to stay safe in the lands, but everyone plays for different reasons it seems, and perhaps we would learn alot if we considered this instead of flaming folks to boost our own egos)

I once met a paladin who refused to wear a helm, as the evildoers should see his face. It's the quirks that make the character.

*LMAO* Your completely right about not liking flames bro, but those that play with fire, eventually get burned, and the rest of us can stand back and laugh. ;) And there are those that play the game to enjoy roleplaying with other people, and those that strive to be the best. Neither one is right, or wrong, because they both get what they see out of the game, as it was designed I'm betting. In no way am I saying that flaming is kewl, I think it's childish and immature, I'm juz saying that I can see this from their point of veiw as well. :P
