Textiles of the Planes
The tailors of New Tanaan
have over the ages found
opportunities to experiment
with various materials
brought to the city by
visitors from the deeper
planes. Here is a summary
of some of their findings.
Swatches may be sewn from
| the silk of the Arachnids
native to the planes of
nightmare, air, and fire. In
addition swatches have also
been sewn from the the fibers
of the Earth Arboreans, the
hair of Storm Volaas, and
strands of slarghilug kelp.
Once created these swatches
may then be sewn into
clothing that harnesses the
|
|
powers of their plane of
origin. One swatch with the
necessary pattern and
additional materials may be
sewn into a cap or wristband.
Two swatches may be sewn
into sleeves, gloves, or
boots. Three swatches may
be sewn into pantaloons or
robes.
| Night Terror Clothing
Dark clothing containing the
twisted magic of the plane of
nightmares. This clothing is
sewn with a pattern from
nightmare arachnid silk,
cured with night terror
curing agent, and adorned
with an emblem of nightmare.

Stormweave Clothing
This exotic clothing is sewn
from the hair of the Storm
Volaas Giants that reside in
the plane of storms. The
clothing is cured with
stormweave curing agent and
adorned with an emblem of
storms.
| Firestrand Clothing
Extremely rare and powerful,
firestrand clothing is sewn
from the silk of the obsidian
spiders of the plane of fire.
The clothing is cured with
firestrand curing agent and
adorned with an emblem of
fire.

Earthweave Clothing
Sewn from twine crafted from
the fibers of the arboreans
that inhabit the powerful
plane of earth, this clothing
is callous to the touch yet
surprisingly comfortable to
wear. The clothing is cured
with earthweave curing agent
and adorned with an emblem
of earth.

Airstrand Clothing
This airy translucent clothing
is sewn from the silk of the
air arachnids that spin their
webs across the vast empty
expanses of the plane of air.
The clothing is cured with
airstrand curing agent which
gives it a cloudy color and

air.
Waterweave Clothing
This rare clothing is sewn
from the strands of kelp
harvested by the Slarghilugs
native to the plane of water.
The clothing is cured with
waterweave curing agent
| and adorned with an emblem
of water which infuses the
clothing with the power of
the Triumvirate of Water.
