Will the mana regen portion of this stack with Maelin's from the Shawl of Eternal Forces?

I and several guildmates of mine have this now. It does NOT stack with the beastlord spiritual domination line of spells, however it *does* stack with Lunar Whispers.

If your guild is on a DKP system or any other sytem you are wasting your points if you are a shaman and bid for this. Canni 4 eats it immediately so no 3hp/3mana for you.

Not entirely true, canni IV doesnt eat it right away. I got this item tonight and it absorbs your first hit (canIV only does 146hp damage) but you still get the mana from the canni, after the second hit the buff fades.
So if you wanted to alternate casting canni IV and the 7sec cast boon, you can canni and keep getting the 3m+3hp per tick w/o losing hp.
Cant see how you say this is definitly not a shaman item.

Got this item today, they actually upgraded it... It's now 75 hp and 75 mana, and stacks with everything except wizard epic and rune.

Are you sure that it doesnt stack with rune?
I recently got the shield of auras from the arch lich in ssra and its effect definately stacks with rune and arcane rune and berserker strength as well as all the druid and beastlord mana regen buffs. The two effects are similar in nature and therefore im just curious.

Got this on a raid today (July 12, 2003). As of today, the effect stacks with Voice of Quellious, Blessing of the Nine, and Mask of the Stalker just fine. It does NOT stack with Spiritual Dominion (beastlord regen buff). I haven't tested it with any rune type effects.
This definitely drops, Forged Souls was the first guild to drop Shei Vinitras on the Seventh Hammer yesterday, and a cleric was lucky enough to receive this. It certainly is a rocking range slot item for shaman/clerics/druids.. Perhaps the best shammy range slot item out of Vex Thal (not sure about all the drops in there).
For all the slots you can put this in, it would be an improvement over my current gear in that slot. Simply put - this rocks.

Shei was killed before the new item:spell format was implemented. Sometimes i wonder if you people even play Everquest. Just because you havent seen it, doesnt mean it doesnt exsist.

given that this supposedly comes from the boss MoB of akheva, i doubt it was taken pre-patch...
i'm not saying it doesn't exist...but noone i've talked to on drinal can confirm that it does

You can specialize in all skills (I hear that it's good to, anyways) just make sure your main specialization (Alteraction for clerics, etc) is the first to top 50.
Hopefully these skill mod items push skill ability past caps, ie getting the effective 55 spec. abjure if it's not your 'main' spec.

Who specializes abjuration? As far as I know the percent mod boost items won't add to a skill you don't have (ie a block mod item wouldn't give you block skill if you didn't have it) so if you didn't specialize abjuration then this skill mod won't affect you. Aside from that the stats and effect are great. Would definitly be the ultimate priest item if it were specialize alteration mod though :)

Great for shamans, Great for clerics, a Kick in the pants for druids, this effect doesn't stack with potg.

While true at the time this was posted, the May 8th 2002 patch apparently changed the mana regen from slot 4 to slot 5.
This means that, on the mana side at least, it now stacks with PotG/C/N but does not stack with the Bst line of spells.

Potg and BaoTR don;t stack, they have same mana regen component. Safe to say if Potg doesn;t stack with this item, BaoTR probably won't either won;t either. Be really nice if it did.
Actually, this is a good thing for druids too. With the new AAXP skills and our clerics who can group Aego on raids, we dont have to worry about casters getting PotG while the other half of the group gets Aego.
With this, even druids can get Aego and not have to worry about losing that extra mana regen.

not the best i've seen, but literally good, the boon effect is very usefull to clerics for standing raids where they can't sit, with this i could get a total of FT12 standing and have blessed armor at the same time

WOW../drool..this is awesome...*looks for words*...wonder what the proc is...really doesnt matter cause anyway you put it this is the best wisdom caster item i have ever seen. Anyone have any imfo on the mob who drops it? IE: lvl, strategy?
