There is no cap of 10 ! read the description on it . saves 1% mitigate on both spell and melee damage . Do you see where it reads cap of 10 anywhere, NO !!! So if the mob can hit for max 20k it saves you 200 damage and yes that doesnt sound like much, but on a raid mob after taking 500 hits = 100k less total damage .

My warrior has this cuz it sounded awesome. It protects from 1 percent with a cap of 10... you read that right, 10 HP.
So, you just got hit for 10K? It saved you a whopping 10 hp.
