"hello, im a caster, and i never use a weapon cause i dont have to, but sometimes i just wish i had a dagger to fend off pesky little greens that bother me sometimes without having to switch out a weapon. Oh, whats this? a 15 int dagger? thanks you VI!"

Bah, as an Enc my pet wont attack unless I get hit or have the lvl 65 AA's to send it in. However I can still swing at a mob and hope it ripostes. My rune absorbs the dmg, and pet starts hitting. Sure enc animations aren't super DPS but any and all helps. 8P

bah, im insulted by that remark!! :P as a mage, i get bored with sitting behind the lines just nuking and sending my pet in to melee for me, sure, it takes down mobs faster in groups, but hell, after so many hours in the same group, it gets old quick, so why not run in and work your skill a bit? in some places where you have to wait for mobs to pop and the healer is usually running pretty high with mana(like Velks), then why not spend a bit and melee for the fun of it? for my mage, i worked piercing with my Sarnak Summoners Dagger, 9/20 5int 30 mana with a 350ish dd proc. yes i know i do more damage nuking alone, but it is fun asking the chanter for haste and boon of the garou, and a dex buff from a shammy, it lets the group relax and have a laugh. have fun and let loose.
Battlemage with every melee skill capped :D

All I have to say is thank god us rogues can't use it. If I was able to use it I probley would cause its friggin god like but I would die so fast that no cleric could heal me and no tank could out taunt me this thing would be insta death for a rogue to use

Building on that thought, let's take away that little "lore" tag and imagine a rogue dual weilding these buggers. >=)

MR +20? Int +15?

Not to mention the ratio and weight.

What Enchanter would not die for this?

When it's listed as Lore, how does he have two showing up in the inventory screen shot?

Just curious.

NPC's dont have to follow the same rules we do they can carry multiple lore items just like the orc clerics in oasis can carry 2 handed swords

If this guy is holding 2 of these dirks when my necro ever gets to a raid I aint complaining about him having 2, heh

He is inspecting the corpse of the mob that drops the dagger. NPC's may have multiple Lore items, while we may not. Another piece of evidence PROVING that NPC's cheat! hehe

If you look closely, the screenshot says Xerkizh the Creator's corpse. For some mysterious reason unknown to man, dwarf or troll, mobs throughout Norrath are able to possess 2 or more of the same item, even though it has the 'Lore' tag.

I've seen so much items from SoL upto now. Most 'good' stuff is nodrop. I'm wondering if the box it came in is nodrop too

This is a cool little dagger. Im wondering what the Proc does? With an atk/dly like that, it will be easy to throw this weapon on real fast, get a few quick hits in to get the proc off, then back out to med/cast. Unless your already on aggro list, this shouldnt do much of taking aggro off the MA =) This dagger is just to spice up a casters life. I also saw this same exact graphic on an NPC in Sanctus Seru in one of the caster buildings.

Hehe, I can only assure you that more Rogues would be coughing up blood if we were able to use it than as it is. It is a nice dagger for the finger-wigglers out there and that's just fine by me.
