Does this replace the merc that you already have? If so is it more powerful?

You need 3 LoN cards:
Plagued Skull Fragment Pack
Path of Skulls Pack
Any bones ornament pack or Clawed Skull Ornament Pack or Dagger of Skulls Ornament Pack
Once you have all 3, claim them on one character who wants the cleric merc.
Redeeming them gives you Empty Glowing Skull, Trapped Soul Gem, and Frost Covered Gem.
Having all 3 items on you triggers the Frozen Skeleton of the Cursed to speak to you when you get near it.
"You have it, you have it, give me my head, etc, the statement ends in a plea where he says please give me my head, my soul, and my frost and I will work for you."
Hand in the 3 items and the liason will then flag you to get his merc.

Where do the other 2 gems come from? How do you get this thing together from LoN?
