I was given mine by someone and I can actually kill things now.

I have one of these, and the graphic while holding this weapon looks really cool. The graphic is a wide blade that is somewhat short in length. Without any level-based damage bonus and possessing strength in the low 100s, I was hitting for about 19 to 20 HPs. The 24 delay is pretty quick for low-end swords with this much damage capability. To give you an idea of the price range, I paid 200pp for mine and heard one offered at 350pp.

im bout to get dual wield and this seems like a awesome weapon anyone now how much they are or can help me get one on drop i willl pay you i am on torivonolous
Due to the dmg cap, this plus Langseax would be pretty sweet for a 1-19 lvl warrior. Use this to lvl 12 (dual wield at 12, right?) and then put Langseax in secondary (since there's no dmg bonus until 25, primary vs secondary is kind of moot).
Yep, I would have loved to wield those two. As it was, I had a Langseax and some piece of junk (perhaps fine steel) until I was 17 or so, and got into a decent group of RL friends who helped me get new stuff.
Of course this only really matters to those who don't have a 60th level friend bringing them from 1 to 20 in an afternoon, and at least on The Seventh Hammer that's getting distressingly common...

dual wield at 13 :( and this weapon certainly is nothing to terrible for a person without a decent guild :( 10/24 (assuming the dmg bonus will kick in) isnt bad at all for the level to obtain

This drops off the named elemental Inferno, not hard to kill but one bear to get to spawn.
Inferno seems to be the easiest of the 4 named to pop. I have yet to even see Terra and I have now bottomed out my faction with all the elementals.
This I believe is his common drop, not sure what his rare is but I have had a similar weapon called a "Seared Short sword" from a normal (not even titled) fire elemental The weapon is identical in dam/del and Fire dam but has +3 to all physical stats and weighs 5. Have not had anything worthwhile off any other normal elementals, although I rarely bother looting them.
