Researchable?

Is this specifically not researched, or is it just that no one has posted a recipe?

If there's a recipe for it, it hasn't been discovered yet.
takes a long time

this spell is a very rare drop. took me forever to get it. the best place seems to be velks that i found (lots more spells drop..) but there are a lot of spells and you need to kill a lot of kobolds to get it
Drops Frequently up top in Velks

Went through the shardwurm caves in Great Divide about 14 times with no luck on the spell drop. Went to Velketor's Labrynth, to the top section. After 2 rounds of clearing the room, the spell dropped. I stayed up there for awhile since the kills were easy and the loot was pretty decent and got the spell 3 more times. Seems to drop off the icepaw kobold champion and priest mob more than any other mobs. Thanks for reading my input and good luck.

Been killing everything in Velks with my 70 ranger/51 shaman (down in the pit with kobolds and spiders). Pretty much have gotten everything on the mobs spell drop list minus what I came for: celestial healing. Kinda getting annoying, really isn't worth all the trouble.
where's the spell?

i had a few lvl 65 friends (cleric, wizard)
we stayed maybe 5 hours in the wurm tunnels in GD, we nailed every thing that spawned even the broodmother, and i collected every class spell EXCEPT the cleric spell..

so i looked here that the gnolls in Vellks might drop.. we wiped out the tents, for 6 hours strait, and same as before, i looted close to 500pp and not a single cleric spell to be found.

i think this spell needs to be updated to RARE, because there's no reason for all other class spells around 44-50 drops BUT Celestial Healing?

something aint right.

Wyrmer,

You're not alone on this. I have been camping the Wurms with my Bard for 2 days now. Killed over 200 wurms, clearing the entire caves several times. I managed to get 1 Glowing Bile and every single spell that can drop EXCEPT Celestial Healing.

I wanted this spell for my Cleric but now I'm not to sure it is worth the effort. I did see one in Bazaar on Luclin for 3k. I almost made that much pp in the 2 day camp. Who knows, I might just break down and buy it.

/agree this is RARE!!!!

better drop rate

Check the map of the caverns in GD. from the south entrance, take the first tunnel to the right, then another right as well. There you have 2 wurms and one more further in. These have a much better drop rate on spells and items.

Took me about 1.5 hours to get the Celestial spell, and I also picked up several other spells, weapons, star rubys and 3 glowing wurm biles while waiting.
Still Rare Drop!!

**Sigh this spell is still very uncommon. Camped GD with my enchanter for this spell to give to my cleric. Exactly 6 days in GD and not one time did it drop! Went too Velk's got some nice items but still no spell... I only spent 2 days in Velk's and gave up! Will get it when I can and left the camping for a while. I just can't see paying 4-5k for this spell saw one for 2500p still gonna wait for a short while before buying. Anyone else still having a hard time getting this one?
Matter of luck

The drop rate for Celestial Healing is sporadic at best. I've only received mine from the spiders in Velketor's. Have camped the wurms many a time in GD and never had any success. I've had friends however who have done the camps at GD and have obtained the spell.

Regarding prices, I've seen them range from 2k to 6k and maybe 2 or 3 will show up every other week.

/rude to people selling a level 44 spell for several thousand plat.

drop rate
# Dec 06 2003 at 12:13 AM Rating: Decent
has the drop rate on this spell been nerfed at all lately, I camped wurms in GD for days now and still havn't gotten this spell to drop, and I RARELY see it in the bazaar, usually 10-20K when I do see it.
This spell is useful.

This spell is quite possibly the most useful Cleric healing spell spell next to Complete heal. If you are a cleric, you MUST get this spell.
The next to nothing amount of aggro generated by this is extremely useful. In a good group the mob should be dead before any measurable amount of aggro is headed your way, or at the very least the mobs have placed the tanks much higher on the hate list.
I find that this spell is also useful in situations you know someone is going to take damage. Cast it on a monk before they go pull, or on an enchanter, right before their charm is broke. I also like casting this on a tank before a complete heal if I am unsure if I can get the 10 second spell off.
just my two pp.

This spell rocks! It not only heals more hps (then sup heal), costs less mana, but it barely has any aggro! I believe it has the aggro of a buff when you cast it so this spell rules in each and every way!

It is also found off of the guards in icewell, I take groups to kill watchers regularly and do small groups (3-6ppl) to kill sentries/sentinals often as well. (I need a RVF bp from watchers and alot of people need the RVF drops too, figure I might as well help em get it hehe). I have personally gotten 2 scrolls of celestial healing from the guards (and it is quite possible others there with me have gotten it as well, I don't keep too close track of what drops hehe, if ya need it, its yours; if not, gratz to the looter hehe).

To make an exceedingly long story short, YOU CAN GET IT IN ICEWELL TOO.
