Ive had my CGS for a while now, and i ditched my testament a while back, and this aint a whole lot more, so, if i was to get one, i know a couple deserving clerics and druids that would drool for one of these, seeing as its not no drop ;)

Who knows, this could look like a buckler of insight for all we know, but I am guessing it looks like either a cone of the mystics or orb of the infinite void.

Maybe I'm missing something but this is what? a testament with +15 extra mana... enough to cast like a lvl 1 spell... I'd have to say this is pretty useless for anyone who could obtain it assuming they had the brains to get a testament at lvl 25 maximum
Now for the logical part of this item... not all items are meant for good races! It is damn near impossible to get a testament as an evil raced shaman, so this item is looking pretty good to me to get my hands on. You can't just say it's useless because YOU can't use it dude.

Consider this, do not replace your testament but replace the other melee slot item. I am currently using a paw of oppolla and would rather have one of these honestly, would eliminate the negative stats. Have a melee weapon that I swap in when needed but usually dont use it.
I'm having trouble understanding the logic here. First off, a DRU who needs AC is doing something wrong. Second, one extra WIS is going to free you to sacrifice that WIS somewhere else for other stats or effects.
I see this as at least as valuable as CGS, if not a tad more.
Make it either range or primary, and it would be nice, but as is, I agree with the other comments. Its pretty useless, unless you just want to twink your level 1. If I did get one, I suppose I'd replace my testament, but I sure wouldn't buy one, or hunt it down on purpose. Range slot, this would be an incredible item. Primary, it would still be very nice, an upgrade for paw of oppala. But in secondary, its just a 15 mana upgrade.
Vs testament: 15 mana is never anything to scoff at. This is roughly 3 wisdom at the level you claim one should get a ToV. And especially at lower levels, +mana helps more than +wis.
Vs CGS: see above. AC is nice, but the difference isn't enough for a priest class to justify the extra 1 wis (worth up to 12 mana) and 25 loose mana. Maybe a shaman worried about getting beat on after slows has something to think about here, but otherwise AC is not as central a concern to you as the size of your mana pool.
Either way, I'd rather have this. I feel it's superior to the CGS, and if you can theoretically buy this, it saves you an aggravating camp for Dylin.
