Pet does not need a piercing weapon to backstab. It's enabled right when you summon it. Needs to be positioned behind the mob though.

This pet hits for 57 and highest backstab I seen was 175. He does NOT need a weapon to backstab which is handy. Make sur to turn taunt off though.

Does this spell drop at all. Been hunting zone for 2 weeks straight and thats with help clearing the fort of everything for an Hour, during one of those days.

Not a drop, it a quest reward for turning in four other spells drops you could also get three different spells instead.
