Cosgrove Seals

You will find that seals
are no longer as generic as
they once were. Though
there are not grand
differences between the
different seals, in order
to harness the power within
them, seals will now have
to be crafted to fit
specific armor pieces.

For Smithing, you will need
a seal pattern for the
overall pattern, and then
use vanadium ore, two
platinum bars and a
chainmail template pattern
for the armor piece you
wish to fit. Use the
chainmail pattern for both
plate and chain, as you

need it to be flexible.
Quench the metals with
cosgrove water and a vial
of purified mana.

For Tailoring, you will
need a seal pattern for the
overall pattern, then work
it into immaculate silk
using platinum thread. You
will also need a vial of
purified mana to infuse the
power into it, and cosgrove
water to properly work the
silk. To shape it, use the
appropriate silk template
pattern.

Finally, for tinkering, you
will also need a seal
pattern, vanadium ore, two
platinum bars and a
chainmail template pattern
for the armor piece you

wish to fit. Use three
gnomish heat sources to
heat the metals, then cool
it with cosgrove water and
a vial of purified mana.

Once you have this new
seal, you need to use
different components in the
ambleshift's opal automated
amalgamator. The power
item that you will find
this time is a crystallized
ball of cosgrove clay. You
still need epicthieck's
lubricating goo as well as
the mechanoinstruction you
plan to use. In addition
to the seal you made above,
you will also need extra
components to work the seal
properly. For metal armor,
you need to add metal-
tempering chemicals.

Leather armor requires
tanning chemicals and silk
needs silk curing
chemicals.

Additionally, you need a
pattern and mold
appropriate to the piece
and type of armor you are
making. Plate armor uses
a plate template mold,
chain requires a chainmail
template pattern, leather
uses a leather template
pattern, and silk requires
a silk template pattern.
