This spell also drops from an "old Wurm" in skyfire mountains. Just got my spell from this one after hours and hours hunting the other mobs listed for this spell...
my wife was in City of mist with a group in the temple where Lord G spawns.
this spell dropped in there, dont remember exactly what mob it came off of, but they were upstairs.

just got one there from a black reaver. It was on about the 50th reaver I killed, so not a good place to go if you specifically want this spell!

Just swarmed 15 mobs in Skyfire with my bard, other than 2 skyash drakes the other mobs were all on the list of we drop it and other spells, got talisman of the brute off a skyash drake and the rest of the mobs had some plat. For a common drop I'm kinda confused. I thought common meant you had a chance in hell of gettin the thing. I've been chanting chromodracs for 3 hours and decided to go after devourers, didn't really mean to swarm but mobs just kept poppin in on me so...

A group of four of me guildmates went hunting BW last nite specifically fer this spell . . . .
We had a ranger with us and thought chasing down 'named' beasts would be a lot easier than killing every un-named mob in, say, Skyfire. Found Gullerback almost every 10-mins. Ended up killing it at least 15 times (coulda been more) in the two hours we were hunting and every time it dropped jest the mantle.
We mighta found the other named beasties in BW twice total each named (they no dropped it either) =(
Think I trying Skyfire from now on - lots more chance of an un-named MOB dropping it than trying to get only four named to drop it . . . . =/

Thank God this spell can now be researched. For a 55th lvl spell that is a pet. People are just chargeing to much for it. Some ppl are trying to charge 10k for this on prexus. What the freak. I refuse to pay that much for a pet spell. The norm is 4k to 5k, and that is still crazy. I am sorry for ranting, but I just hit 55 was looking forward to this spell. I have the 5k or even 10k to spend on it, but come on. At 55 you are not doing that much soloing you can but the down time is a little longer then what it use to be. So you are in group and you pet is just extra dps. If you dont have a 55th lvl pet spell to cast who know, but you. Bring out your first pet, I bet no one will know the difference but you. Now at 61 when you Mass canni, and torpor soloing will be back up i am sure. I bought that pet today just to have it. It goes for less then 500pp, got mine for 150pp. I tell you the logic. Sorry again for the rant. Glad it can be reserched now.
For a common spell this sure doesn't seem to drop a lot. Too bad it can't be reserched or something to make it more readily aviailable.
