(Chorus Al Coda) Hey! Jenny don't change your number, I need to make you mine, Jenny I call your number: 867-5309 (867-5309) 867-5309 (867-5309)
Jenny Jenny! Who can I turn too? (867-5309) For the price of a dime I can always turn to you... (867-5309) 867-5309 (867-5309) 867-5309 (867-5309) I got the 309! (867-5309)...
Thats a real phone number where I live. In the music video it was actually a prison number. But we would prank call it sometimes just to show peeps it was a real number. Now the owner has a recording with the song on it instead of a normal answering machine message.
I agree this is a very nice item for you. One thing you need to start doing is look for items with Wis AND Mana. After you get to the 255 cap the mana/wis point is less then before the cap.
Prior to the 255 mark mana is about 10mana/wis point. So giving up 1 point of wis and getting +10 mana would even out. (I have not looked at these numbers in a while.) That is what I remember and used for evaluating stats and replacements.
Me, I am a cleric. I prefer wisdom stats over mana, because wisdom increases mana and the wisdom stat, unlike mana which just increases mana. I rely on wisdom much more than mana because I am level 56, and I dont have my 255 wisdom maxed out yet, and with AA's it can go up to 355, which is hard to get. This is a great source of wisdom for the chest. In fact, it is tied with the number one chest slot for cleric's. Just my opinion.

I'm afraid I have to disagree. I stopped looking for high wisdom gear after around level 50, because with KEI it maxes out wis. Even w/o KEI, i had over 200 wisdom, and if you've ever taken a look at what wisdom adds, after 200 wisdom the amount of mana it adds per wisdom is halfed. I aimed for 200 wisdom unbuffed, and have had almost no mana problems. If your guild is at the level where you are fighting Grieg, I see no reason why the 30 wisdom would become the deciding factor for why a cleric should win. This BP is useful for any of the stated classes, but I (personally) would let it go to a paladin, as they make more use of the stats.

Why do you feel the need to flame her for her opinions? Frankly, her gear looks like most UNTWINKED level 56s I've seen lately. Does it make you feel "Uber" to make fun of her gear?
BTW, if your Allakhazam profile is correct, you really shouldn't be insulting other people's gear, because yours isn't particularly impressive for a level 65.
And, for her situation, she is correct for the most part. Wis > mana until wis is capped, then Mana becomes better.
This item normally goes to Paladins when we kill this mobs... we've only seen 3 BPs drop after about 15 kills (I've only seen 2 on 12 kills presonally) and the BP goes to a pally every time... The melee stats and the large amount of raw wis make it better overall for a Pally, as they are the ones more lacking on wis generally. Our clerics generally wait for something like the Breastplate of Integrity with better mana and resists.
I myself wear the LDoN BP, and ornate makes this obsolete also, so the only real use for it is to give the pallies in the lower ranks (sub 60) a chance to catch up on their wis substancially.
I can see that this bp is useful to a pally, but unfortunately I cannot agree with Breastplate of Integrity being better then this one, not even on clerics.
Clerics could have just as much use of this bp as a pally - ask any cleric who got this :)
My guild took down Grieg 2.0 last week or week before, Dropped the Bp, the Ulak, and the boots of stability. Cleric got the BP, Grieg is actually a very easy raid to do if everyone can get theyre MR and FR above 300 (including Bard resists) and is 60+. The biggest pain with him is his gravel rain AE, knocks you around like crazy!

I just got mine tonight, and im still in shock. Many guilds dont bother with this encounter since they dont feel the reward is worth the risk. Grieg is in no way a cake walk, but if you know how to keep your healers safe from his AE, he can be taken out, and I am a very happy Cleric right now.
To take it even a little further. The rest of the numbers are all 5's. The reason that Hollywood had to start using 555-5555 as every phone number was a result of this song. The rest of the stats add up to that phone number
Stewie Griffin: [Picking up the phone.] Hello, operator. Hello... Oh god, that's right you have to punch in the numbers nowadays. Uhhh, I should know this. Oh yes, [dialing number] Stewie Griffin: 867-5309, yes that's it. Wait that's not it, damn you Tommy Two-Tone. Huh, only one thing to do 111-1111, Lois? Damn. 111-1112 Lois? DAMN. 111-1113...
Saw this item last night on a high elf cleric (possibly paladin? Forgot about if I saw epic, was too busy gawking at BP) named Yanila on Vallon Zek. She said it took a large group of level 60's to take down Grieg. OMG..that thing is amazing. Looks like a shiny silver plate with old character models on. From what Yanila said there are only 2 reported players wearing Jenniy's on Vallon Zek. My cleric alt is already drooling, and after seeing it was a confirmed item I am determined to get ahold of that thing someday. Wish me luck. If I ever raid Grieg's I will let you know if I succeeded. Yanila said the BP dropped on first kill. Coincidence? Or maybe just a very difficult item to get because of mob difficulty? :)
lol Whats 20 weight going to hurt? Especially for a tank? I've got an enchanter that would gladly wear a 20 pound robe if it had stats comparable to this. Not a concern I'm sure, I've never seen a robe like that, but just a hypothetical comparison.

should have 255str before you put this on? not necessarily. but you should have enough low weight equipment that the 20wt wont encumber you too much. as for even HE pali, they should have adequate enough str to handle this anyway.
Yeah, I have both of those and I'm a skinny bard. Why do people assume because you can (with your guild of course) kill high level mobs all your stats are 255? Crazy I say.
Hehe, the Tommy Tuetone referance is quite entertaining. I'd like to see a few more items like this, and hey.....who would want a item with those stats ?
A few old world bards have musical names, too. There's VHalen (Van Halen) in SK and another bard in the DE forest (I don't play anymore... can't remember the zone names) w/ the last name of Tu Tone. Probably a few more, but those are just the ones that were dumb enough to attack me.

Read it next time before you assume its a monk item. Its poser dumbass monks like you taht make the rest ofo us look bad. Other classes need stuff too ******, not just monks. Now go back to fighting orc pawns with your wu stick, noob.
i wouldnt call this the "BEST" BP, sure its nice, but if your ABLE to get this BP, you prolly have HIGH wis anyway, over 200 for sure, remember on most raids you will have koadics so your wis will be high, better BP imho is Crazy Cleric BP, same ac, 15wis, saves, but +90mana
mana is the stat of all stats for casters, overall mana pool > all other stats in importance, yes you need AC/saves/wis(or int) but +mana all the wAYYYYY!
nevertheless i'd prolly where this just so i wouldnt look the same as every other purple/hot-pink cleric out there =/
Give up 15 wis for 40 mana? If you are really in to +mana and resist items, then this BP would be awesome for you... +30 wis lets you replace other wis items for resist or mana/hp/ac gear. The end justifies the means in this case.
