First tiem i ever fought him had a group of 3 btween low 30's and ahihg 20's we kille dhim no problem. My proble is high vll chars are always farmign him and he never seems to be alive when i go to kill him.. Just that one time wondering what his repop time is?
Ok good thing i read up on this guy, Im gonna heed your warning and make and buff my pet b4 i kill him. Im a 53 shaman with kei and V. My pet will only have standard 53 shammy buffs. The cultist near him cons green, and he (IT?) cons LB. I dont think i will have much of a problem with it, but we shall see. Just stoppin thru on my way to do turn in for earring of solstice and thought id kill it.. needlite queen wasnt up. but mebbe on the way back Whatever the outcome, i will post again when one of us is dead. Somehow i believe that making a pet is overkill.
Killed him today. Friend, 55 war and me a 47 cleric. Calmed all the ones arround him. Warrior threw some arrows at it. Finally went in for Mellee. Had one DD cast on me for about 150, Poison at that. Has all resists up to 70 on both of us but poison. The knockback did about 500 dam one time to Warrior. Hit it with stunn a few times. It went down in about a min or so. Was hitting for 30 40 tops. Not hard at all. I dont see how any other two person grp could die from this guy unless they have not a clue. Just get your stats up and calm the adds. Then send a mellee in to do the dirty work. Didn't drop the spell, just gloves and shroom. Good luck to all that try.
This guy is tough, He summons healers normally on the first heal. He will then use a poision based Knockback spell that is also a DOT. Could not take him out with a 49 Warrior and 48 Shaman (with pet). Good luck
You must be kidding, I just kicked his *** few minutes ago on Xev server. I am a shaman lvl 49. Make ur pet and fullbuff it, buff u with HP and regen (AC and Agi if you want). Slow and debuff the mob, and the pet will kick his ***, then just heal the pet or nuke the shroom with our DD cold-based spells (don't try DoTs or DD poison-based spell, they will get resisted almost every time). It was a 1 min fight where he never had any luck to win. He summoned me once, which is not really important, cause as a shaman with our buffs and rage or fury which is great self buff, he doesn't hit hard at all. Only his knockback attack is boring cause it can interrupt ur spell but u just have to cast from farther than he can hit in the hallway as he NEVER moves.
No, you will be demolished. Back when I was 52 me and a druid (also 52) tried to kill him.... 3 deaths for each of us, he summons, nukes for 500+ and is just a general pain in the ***.
Hate to bust up the myth's on this one but myself, a 32 beastlord, a 32 warrior a 32 rogue and 3 others around mid 30's all took this guy down in a fight that took about 2 minutes. No serious damage taken by any of the group members and the spell dropped very first kill. Guy that told us about him needed the spell so we let him loot it.
one good thing about this i got some Uber xp from him almost 2 blue bubs.
When I was lvl. 59, I took him out easily. No need to bother with snare or root or DoTs. Just nuke him and heal if you take too hard a beating. If you want, give yourself Protection of Summer/Winter/Seasons and regen and just nuke your way to victory, despite resists.
Too bad I din't get the spell first time, though

What 150p? I will pay 500p for these if you got some and your on Vazealle send me a tell. With resistances like these I will keep them on me for fighting dragons and such even if I have to sacrifice a bit of AC.
"The AC is only 3! This pair of gloves may get you killed with hard hitting mobs."
If your killing stuff in ToV and not tanking these wouldn't be bad. I remove my 17ac +stats UP gaunts to wear these wile fighting dragons. When getting Aoe'd for 400+ every round, every save counts. If your one of those that just xp's like a drone and never raids, point taken. Sell them to a merchant if it suits you.

When I go to lay the smackdown on Naggy or his woman, I take off my 30ac 9str 50hp barbed ringmail and put on my humble 12ac 8svFire/Cold/Magic Dwarven Ringmail Tunic.
I was planning on getting some Ivy Etched Gaunts for the bag o' dragon torture toys, but these are lighter to carry around, and 5sv magic is worth the loss of 2 to cold and fire.
I found a pair of these gloves on the tribal merchant just outside of Fungus Grove outpost, in the tribal village. He had at least two pairs for sale, since I bought one and he still had a pair in his merchant inventory. With poor charisma, they were around 87pp. Sometimes it pays to run around and check merchants for goodies, you never know what you'll find for sale!
I agree entirly. I always check all the Bazaar and many of the more visited neriak commons vendors every week or so. My best rewards have been my 55 pet buff and Splurt in Baz. Both probally were obtained by a Neutral or good team mate(i'm Sullonzek)
The Great Saprophyte is a huge mushroom in Echo Caverns. If you are a caster, you should not try to solo him, even though he is only about level 30. This huge mushroom cannot move, so they were smart enough to make him summon even though he is under level 51. He procs knockback spells, then he summons you back to him and does it all over again. He is a pain at lower levels, but is still fun.
